Are you shopping your truck, pulling it behind a U-Haul, or driving?

We have a pretty good network of members if you need any help on your travels. If you take I-70, stop in for a beer. I did the I-40 route when going from the East coast to west.

    1) what transmission gear will you be towing in? As an automatic i will delegate that to Tow/Haul. Generally, I tow in 4th gear, but I haven't towed anything in a long time let alone with this Tundra since my grandfather's Avalanche... and he liked to tow in 3rd for hills, and 4th for flat land.

    2) will you engage the Hoe/Tall shift point logic of your ECU by pressing the Hoe/Tall button? Yes.

    3) will you engage the cruise control logic of your ECU while towing? No. I have pretty much abandoned cruise control after lifting the truck.

    4) what tire pressure will you be running? This is an interesting one. I'm going to take some suggestions on this.

    5) what is the largest tire I can run on a stock PRO suspension? On completely stock... I'd have to google this one.

    6) what engine oil do you use? list brand and viscosity, plz. Currently using Pennzoil full synthetic 0W-20... because it's hot here where I am lol.

    7) do you monitor your transmission temperatures? Not normally.

These are all good questions that I'm about to do research on. Thanks!
