I have 2019 Toyota Tundra TPMS sensors (TRD PRO Wheels) on my 2014 Toyota Sequoia. I tried to activate the TPMS sensors by selecting the Sequoia vehicle but the TS508 did not detect/activate the TPMS sensors. When I selected Tundra, then I was able to detect/activate the TPMS sensors.

Can I just select Toyota Tundra to relearn (Program to ODB2) the Tundra TPMS sensors into my Toyota Sequoia without damaging the Sequoia ? .. .and so that the Sequoia will detect the Tundra TPMS sensors ?

Both the original Sequoia sensors and the new Tundra sensors are TRW 315MHz and Relearn Type 0

    Thanks in advance!

In 2018 the TPMS sensor part numbers changed. Are you able to read the sensor ID's with the scan tool? Don't quote me, but I'm pretty sure the 14 has a 8 digit ID code and the 2019 will have only a 7 digit ID code

19 sensors are not compatible with anything 18 and below.

Well that sinks. I confirmed that the 2014 sensors have 8 digits while the new ones have 7 digits.

Is my only option to get new 7 digit sensors? I figure my 2014 sensors are nearing end of life. Can I disable the light?

I have a 2016 Sequoia with stock aluminum rims and TPMS. Can these TPMS be swapped direct to 2019 Tundra TRD Pro wheels that I am having installed?

Yes. You can swap existing sensors directly into the new wheels. Just remember that TPMS batteries last 5-10 years.
