Big thank you to @ezdog for taking the camper shell off my hands! Now my Tundra actually looks like a truck and not gramps weekend fishing hauler.

And I look young and sexy now too

You might like a SoftTopper at some point. Folds up nicely and easy to put on or remove. Put in on when you need it when taking grandpa fishing!

    Looks good man!

This is my first truck I haven’t had a shell on. They were so convenient, I slept in the back, camping often. I wouldn’t mind having one again, But the added weight and price tag have me thinking of a soft topper someday. I know it can look a little grandpa, but they are so utilitarian and I found them super useful.

Looks like I need to make a special Road Trip to Oregon maybe?!

Actually I am driving to Montana at some point and then back through the Western Slope of Co too but am just not sure how I would get the thing there too?

But where there is the CASH there is usually a way!

Hey now, no need to be nasty. I like my fishing hauler ;)

I’m glad you were able to find a solution that didn’t involve scrapping the cap

This is the first time I've gone without a topper in years. I got a great deal on a RetraxOne recently. So change in plans. Ordered an Adarac that is compatible to carry my kayaks. I like toppers. Comes in handy at times, especially in rain, snow, and impromptu spur of the overnight sleep over during hunting season.

Yeah mine came with a color matched ARE Fiberglass tip up cover that I of course repaired and got working perfectly before realizing how utterly useless it would be for me to live with which stated me down the path through 3 misfits to the one I have on there now!

So in addition to this new, blue, shorty cap I also have the Lid I mentioned and a Red ARE Fiberglass cap with Windoors both for a LB truck.

How fast do you think those babies will sell?!

Technically Hawaii is a gateway to the west coast.......I do quite well on Craigslist buying and selling things. Pay it forward. Offer a sale price that will sell quickly.

That big silver national monument we have here is also known universally I think as The Gateway to the West!
From before anyone here knew what Hawaii was and the Western edge of the country was the Mississippi River!

    Louisiana Purchase and all.
