    2015 1794 Edition.....

Looking to do a 4-6 inch lift....6 inch if it fits in the garage. Just looked on Rough Country and it says their 4 & 6 inch are out of stock.

Should I wait?.....or are there ones just as good. Used mainly for street ride.

Rough country is crap. You get what you pay for in that case, I'd never buy a rough country for a $50k truck.

If you want a 4-6" suspension, I would look into BDS.
Anything under, (~3.5") go with Toytec.

You got a budget or is the sky the limit? You got a size tire you wanna run with? And you ok with cutting the cross member on the 5+ lift?

Thanks for the response.....all are appreciated. Since I am inpatient and primarily using for the street, I am going with a 3 inch ToyTec lift with 33" Trail Grapplers 20" Fuel wheels with +0 offset (the dealership is doing it all with a 1 yr warranty). Will post pictures when all is complete! And for Trucky Truck.....yes 4x4.

Awesome. Good choices. You will be happy with the 3" Toytec lift. Did you go with the ultimate bilsteins or boss kit?

Woot! You'll love the BOSS kit! It rides so much smoother than the other lifts, IMO.

I bet you can stuff 34"-35" tall tires in there if you wanted to go a little taller.

Sean266.....yes on the 34-5" but dealership said they wouldn't do the warranty if they had to trim anything. So I passed on it. I tried to push them on it or have an outside company do the lift but then it couldn't be worked into the finance and all the BS along with it. So I went with the 33's.

    Weird.
They only need to trim the bumper a bit, push the fender liner in, and re-tap a screw into the front bumper into the fender liner.

    Post up pix when complete!

Sticking with ToyTec. I do feel more comfortable going with a better known brand. You guys had already made it pretty clear ToyTec is better!
    Thanks gents!!

Toytec is great, but if you do any wheeling, I would do a suspension lift and not a spacer lift if it were me.
Suspension lift is safer, rides smoother, and can save your shocks.

Honestly a spacer is a spacer with stock suspension regardless of brand. Toytec makes quality products though.

The 4.5" is a drop bracket lift. If you go to that extent you should just make it a 6" lift. Rough country is one of the cheaper drop bracket lifts for a reason. I'm not a fan.

Recommendation from me is always a replacement of struts with longer struts or coilovers for 3" or 6" lifts. As Sean said spacers leave the front suspension stiffer.

I have a question about the Toytec BOSS lift sine you all seem smart in regards to this...

I put on the Ready Lift Leveling Kit with 3" front and 2" rear blocks. How will all of that effect the Boss install as well as will it need to come off? Can it stay on and add a bit more height?

I hope me asking here isn't rude, if it is I'm sorry. I'm new to this.

The Toytec Boss lift kit come with coilovers for the front that are adjustable between 0 and 3" of lift. The rear comes with new longer shocks and 1" block, 1.5" block or add a leaf.

For the front you will need to remove the spacer and the stock struts and replace with the new coilover.
For the rear you can leave the 2" block on if you want or replace the 2" block with a new 1.5" block. Also depends on what rear shocks you have, if stock you should replace with the new longer ones.

You might save a little by just getting the front coilovers and keeping the rear how you have it now.

Its is not suggested that you combine the spacer lift with the new coilover.
