    I haven't driven it much since i put the afe kit on, but last night i drove it a bit and noticed a sound coming from the passenger side when i was on the gas (probably half throttle). Not really a whistle or anything like that, just a "air" sound.

    Anyone else have this?

    For those who need the longer hose, AFE was very quick to get the 24” to my house. Emailed them late Monday and had a new hose early yesterday (Thursday). They also sent me 2 calendars I won’t use.

    I noticed that too! Happens around 2500-3500 rpms. It’s more of a whooshing sound. Kinda like it haha.

    Any major performance upgrade worth noting? I’m considering this mod.

    Major, no. Upgrade I would say yes.

    That’s the most modest dyno by manufacturer I have seen. Most usually massage their results.

    I'm considering one too.

    @BlueBottle What's your 1+ year review/verdict of this?

    Look at those gains in the curve though, that's what your butt Dyno will feel in daily driving. Don't focus on peak numbers. Picked up 1mpg too so will take it.

    With that being said I really like my kit, even paired it with TRD accelerator. I don't mind the suction noise as its letting me know it's working lol

    How are you liking this so far? Does it give you the deep growl?

    I paired it up with the SABM and couldn't be happier. It's my poor man Stillen intake lol

    No growl, lots of suction noises but also my exhaust is burly so may just be ignoring the growl all together.

    Paired with SABM I took some intake temp readings this past weekend in the morning.

    Full operating temp, 15mins into my drive. 3 degree variance

    Full operating temp hitting multiple stop lights before highway merge. 7 degree variance

    Yes, if it's not CARB compliant. Most legit suppliers will not ship non CARB compliant aftermarket items to California. They can't legally......

    Does anyone know if this kit can be installed without the TB spacer? I like the idea of replacing the tube and a drop in filter, but not crazy about the TB spacer.
