He may be in Ohio. That state is all sorts of messed up.

I caught a rat in my live trap. Little bastard kept trying to attack my wife while it was in the cage. Wife didn't want me to kill it so it now lives in a field on the other side of the river.

Thanks Casey! So I've abandoned the idea for now about putting in a sink, that picture is the sink was just for reference of what another neighbor had done, and how they got the water supply.

There isn't any freeze issues here. It might get below 32 outside for an hour or two during the coldest part of winter, but never that cold inside the garage.

I've sweat pipes before, but would rather not have to deal with it if I don't have to. That valve seems like it would make it easy to slap a t there and call it a day.
    So I need a 3/4 male 3/4 female 1/2 female Tee
    https://smile.amazon.com/Anderson-M...=3/4"+tee&qid=1619582460&s=industrial&sr=1-19
Then a 3/4 double male...is that flex pipe flared or will any double male work?
Then a 1/2 to pex barbed
    https://smile.amazon.com/Tailonz-Pn...+pex&qid=1619582970&s=industrial&sr=1-27&th=1
Then get it down to the 1/4 inch that comes out of the fridge
    https://smile.amazon.com/SharkBite-...x=1/2"+pex+to+ice,industrial,254&sr=8-24&th=1

What the hell. Why does no one carry shower sweeps or door stops any more? Lowes? Yes (but actually nope because they have no idea what they have in stock or where they are) Home Depot? Nope, order online! Call local shops and it's "if we didn't install your shower, we can't help you". I just want to buy a new 1/4 shower sweep and 3/8 shower stop so I can hopefully fix the shower "leak".

If ONLY hooking up the ice maker, then I would reduce the tee down to 1/4 on the branch and run it in 1/4” pex ice maker tubing the whole way.

when I get to work, I can pull you a list of parts.

and yes, the WH flex has a gasket on the inside and is meant to tread directly onto the tapered male pipe threads.

You COULD just go with one of these kits. I'm always leery of these sort of tap-in valves, but you do have the shut-off valve there that you could use to isolate if this ever developed a leak, and it is probably the easiest and least expensive option.
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/EASTMAN-25...tlet-Polyethylene-Ice-Maker-Connector/3196985

Otherwise, you could go this route:
3/4" tee threaded onto the end of the male thread adapter (I'm not finding a 3/4 x 1/2 tee on the Lowes site)
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/B-K-3-4-in-Threaded-Tee-Fitting/1000505761

In the outlet (run) of that tee, use a 3/4" shoulder nipple and thread the flex back onto that nipple
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/B-K-3-4-in-Threaded-Male-Adapter-Nipple-Fitting/1000505665

    If you don't find a 3/4 x 1/2 tee and use the 3/4 tee linked, then you'll need a 3/4 x 1/2 bushing in the branch
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/B-K-3-4-in-Threaded-Male-Adapter-Bushing-Fitting/1000505553

Out of that bushing, use a 1/2 MPT x 1/4 OD Compression adaper
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/B-K-1-4-in-Compression-x-MIP-Adapter-Coupling-Fitting/1000505245

Then get this kit for the icemaker tubing (the push-lock fitting will replace the brass nut on the compression adapter)
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/EASTMAN-25...Outlet-Pex-Ice-Maker-Connector-Kit/1002940588

Make sure you get LEAD FREE brass fittings. I'm always leery of buying threaded pipe fittings online because there's a lot of really shitty cheap crap on Amazon and I just don't trust it. If you have a decent local plumbing supply (i.e. not big box store), you might go in there and see they've got.

Thanks Casey! I've got a True Value Standard thats my go to for different pipe fittings, i'll bring this list and see if they have everything, if not, then there's a lowes and home depot on the way home. Thanks for your helps with these parts, i'll keep ya updated!

The epoxy itself is not UV resistant, its the flakes that you put over the epoxy that prevents the flooring from yellowing. I admit it is a bit more difficult to to find nuts and bolts but I would rather than than the floor start to yellow near the door. I guess you could go with a solid flake color if you can find it, but you need the vinyl chips for the UV protection.

Both of our quads are a 2004 Honda 400EX. I want to say the epoxy floor was around $1600. 2 car garage, but it’s extra deep. Hope that helps.

I’ve been remodeling this lakehouse property for some clients of mine since last year. Now you can see all the beautiful new hardwood floors, stairs, hand railing and kitchen cabinets. This house has some very cool features to it and some amazing views over looking the lake.

Installed these 6”x8” wood mantels and corbels on the two fireplaces on the second floor. My painters are going to stain and seal them to match the timber trusses.

    Got a question.

I want to paint one of my living room walls black. Then dark stain (to match the wood floors) 1'' X 6'' wood slats and bolt to the studs in the wall.

My question is, would I be okay just using wood screws or should I drill a small pilot hole first? Kind of like when you wall mount a TV bracket. Would that be best to not split the wood?

Below is a rough rendering I modeled up in Solid Works.
