Debadged the truck to black out. Used steel-it..pics to follow and update on durability but turned out great with a matte black look.

Removed, cleaned, and waxed the bed under the bed rail caps. First time I removed them since I bought it in 2013

I am going to do this soon. Any hints? I broke one tab doing this on my tailgate.

My plan is to pull my shell, pull trim, wash, touch up as needed and apply 3M film starting under the cap. Then reinstall my shell

I used a door trim removal tool and wedged it under the edge starting at the cab. Screw driver wont work, need to have an angle to it. I wrapped the tool in vinyl tape so not to scrape the paint. Just take your time and not rush it. Just lift up the end by the cab and you will see the clips. Just pry near them one at a time. Took about one minute to get the cap off. Didn't break any tabs.
Bought my multi tool panel kit off Amazon several years ago.
    This one would probably work

Both of mine had the part number on the bottom on a white sticker. They washed of as I cleaned them. Can do a search with the p/n if you have it

Found a 3rd Gen bumper off a local guy for $100.

Spent a couple hours sanding the chrome with 80 grit.
Laid some some self etching primer
Leveled it out with some 600 grit
    Sprayed 3 coats of white
    Lightly sanded with 600 grit
    Sprayed another coat of white.

Now I’m working on 4 coats of clear. Going to wait 48 hours and then wet sand with 2000 before polishing and reassembling.

Drove it 621 miles the last 2 days. Averaged 17.3 MPG at and average of 74.2 MPH. Was considering changing the plugs soon, but I think I may wait a little while longer

    Another day another project.

pretty warm day in so cal, just in time to find out the blower motor was dying. A little noise and blowing too slow.

    Easy replacement.

installed a jl oil catch can

moved some camp lights on the roof rack around because they were in the way of the awning

No problem, PSI Restyling per the ebay ad, it’s linked in the original post as well.
    ____________

Got the front parts of my lift kit installed finally after several seized bolts and trips to the store.

    -ARK Splash Guards
    -Durobump Bumpstops
-Coachbuilder OE Steering Kit & coilover shims (.50”x2 Driver, .50”x1 passenger)
-Icon Tubular Delta Joint UCAs w/ dust caps
-Falcon Coilovers (highest setting for winch/bumper w/new oem Tundra 2020 coils)

    Measurements from ground-fender:
    Before: ~35.75"
    After: ~38.75"

Pausing on doing the rear since it’s supposed to hail tomorrow and it still fits in the garage for now. Also my Kenda Klever R/T KR601 35x12.50r18 arrived ($235 ea!), gonna have them mounted on Monday and alignment Tuesday, planning to get the rear lift in sometime in between.

Thanks! Me and a buddy ended up just eye balling it and taped off a line we liked and it seemed to be the right angle without looking out of place

Finished my blacked out emblems and did a lens restore on the headlights. Was skeptical but for $10 and a little elbow grease the headlights look near new!

Wet sanded the end caps with 2000 grit and polished them up. They’re not perfect but pretty good for a rattle can job.

probably going to install the new bumper tomorrow after work.
