    Greetings,
My trailer causes my 21 TRD PRO Crew Max to sag 2 inches (trailer only weighs 2500 lbs). Doesn’t seem bad enough for air bags but how about something like Timbren’s? Worth it or not? Thanks in advance.

Might try some Helwig helper springs. I had them on my Tacomas and they worked well. I had the 1/2s. My boat weighs 5000 lbs. I estimate tongue weight at 400 or a little more. I have about 1" sag.

Unlevel your truck to get back the 2" of rake you're supposed to have for towing.

Since you have a Pro, your leveled already and this amplifies the problem.

Are you having weird towing experiences? Towing for long distances?

Reason I ask is limiting a suspension system you paid extra for. If it was me and I had to have it level:

    Airbags

    Daystar cradles.

It’s more of an esthetic thing. Tows fine, no issues. Thanks for the feedback

I think the pro's all look like they have some sag in the rear because of the front only lift.
I would install some shackles out back to give it the normal truck rake stance.

But other options would be fixing your tongue weight, a weight distribution hitch, air bags which i didn't like on my taco, timbres which I loved but really only help if you're bottoming out, helper springs, add a leaf, new leafs...

Needing a WDH to pull an empty 2500 pound trailer is treading close to oxymoron territory.

Get shackes and life the back end an inch or 2. Trucks should have a rake. I never understood the leveling thing, it may look cool but it screws up the functionality of having a truck.

if the trailer has too much tongue back up the quad just a little until it feels perfect. Too far back and it will be bouncing on the hitchball. But backing it up a few inches will put some weight on the trailer axle

A set of coachbuilder +1 or +2 shackles would help and they’re a nice upgrade over the stock things with rubber bushings. I went +1 to return to dead level with my topper installed. Often wonder if I shouldn’t have gone +2 for a smidge of rake to level out when towing.

I weighed the tongue and it’s 240 pounds which is pretty close to 10%. Thanks

Dang! 2 inches of sag from 240 lbs...that seems a little much. That trailer is so light do a 1 inch shackle lift and be done

It was 1 1/2 just the trailer but by the time I put more gear in bed I’m assuming I will loose a bit more so rounded up to two. I opened tail gate and measured from edge of tailgate to level concrete garage floor. Then put hitch on ball and lost 1 1/2”.

Sumo springs would be a good solution since they only "engage" when you have weight in the back of the truck or on the tongue. When you're driving empty you don't even notice them there (at least I didn't). They are also cost effective and you can install them yourself in about 20 min....

I’ve discussed this with another member but it’s been a long time. It seems as though you can go with Timbrens (similar idea to sumo‘s.) and their cradles, and use a Superbump (aftermarket bumpstop) in the Timbrens place when you’re not hauling anything. Under the assumption that the single set screw that holds the Timbren in place is the same size as the Superbump. This way your travel isn’t limited when unloaded and wanting to off-road, keeping the articulation.
