Interesting, within the first three months of my order, my dealer couldn't locate a single '21 DC PRO on the East Coast. When I finally got my first build estimate a few months ago, my dealer was told that less than 25 DC PROs had been built to that point? I did get what I thought was a good price...$50,900 including spray-on bed liner, bed mat & 5-tire upgrade to BF Goodrich KO2's.

DC Pros are a rare breed, mostly I’ve seen SR and SR5s DCs. It seems the CMs are in the higher trim lines.

Ok - came upon another dilemma today...color.

Part of the problem with waiting - it gives time to 2nd guess choices.

Originally I said Lunar Rock - just because it's going to be a 1 year only/Pro thing on this generation of truck.

Seeing a Grey on the road the other day - wife decides she likes that better...and of course the Black is classic.

Still think I lean LR if for no better reason - it's unique. Yea - they probably are half the Pros made this year.

I'd love a Cavalry Blue Pro - but don't see any coming up used at a decent price.

Not sure where you live, but black gets so hot in the summer down South. I think the LR color looks great and I find it does change color a bit depending on the light. Your wife might like it better one day compared to the last. I'd stick with it.

    Planning on doing just that.

There's always the chance Toyota allocates something different than the ordered color too - so I will be happy no matter what shows up...

Well - got an update today

The bad...allocation has been cut. Previously dealer hoped to have at least 2 more in July...Toyota just said no.

The good...someone ahead of me with a previous deposit was just told no more LR - so they dropped their deposit.

The indifferent...its magnetic grey. Not sure I'm in love with the color...but it's probably fine. LR is of course a 1 year only thing...but I can see it being a love/hate thing. Black is classic - but as mentioned hot in summer and there are a few Black Pros around town. Grey is a nice compromise I guess.

Still have a deposit with another dealer (refundable) in case they get something - but I'm pretty happy with this dealer. Been easy to deal with - no markups and most of all been transparent throughout the process. I don't mind spending money with someone like that...not just saying what they need to keep me on the line in case they get something.

MGM was my fall back if I couldn't get LR. In fact, I tried to buy one shortly before placing a LR order. I think MGM is a meaner looking truck, honestly. There really are no bad colors. Tough break, but it still may work out.

    Well...another potential change in plans.

Now my local dealer - who originally said "no more allocation available to us" just got a black pro with a May build date.

Told them if they get it - I'll take it.

Worst case it falls through and I'm waiting till June/July on a MGM pro...at this point though I'm open. No point in turning down things when the situation could change overnight again...better to have options than nothing.

Just seems odd that in the course of a month or so it went from "no one can get them" to now 2 dealers are telling me they have a confirmed allocation to sell at sticker and a 3rd is hopeful they can get me one if I wanted it.

I'm in NC presently - but from Ohio and dealt with a couple of dealers up there as well.

Ultimately, the local here who said they could get any more is who now has the Black. 2 in Ohio said they can get allocations still - just out till June/July.

I was at one of the dealerships here yesterday for an oil change. They have a white Pro CM arriving 3rd-4th week of May that is not spoken for yet. Not sure if that interests you.

Thanks - I think I'm good though with a promise locally and if the falls through a dealer who has guaranteed me one previously reserved with a June build date.

Just shows that there ARE Pros out there though - at sticker IF you can wait a few weeks and have flexibility to travel beyond a state that starts with a C (California or Colorado) where markups tend to be most prevalent.

I posted way back in mid February about having ordered one. Well, it arrived today. Took about 96 days, but it is here none the less. I got an update last week about it coming in the 26th of May so I set the tire mount for the 27th. Now that it is here, early, I am stuck riding on the Michelins for a week. I will post some updates after i get it wrapped up. I have the Westcott front, coachbuilder +2 rear, and the Go Rhino Dominator DSS sitting in the garage and getting ready to be installed. Waiting on the tires though. I can't imagine putting anymore room between those Michelins and the top of the wells before i can put the tires on. It looks ridiculous stock as it is; in my opinion of course.

Man that is one clean looking truck. Definitely worth the wait. I had 4 dealers here in Cali willing to work with me and get me on the waitlist at MSRP with refundable deposits. Advertised wait time was a couple of months. Ended up getting lucky and finding a used 2020 with 9900 miles with quality aftermarket stuff for a pretty good price.

Thanks bud. i'm glad to hear you found what you were looking for. I have to say, the Pro suspension is absolutely worth it. I drove everything on the market (except for a Pro bc they aren't sitting on any lots) and almost got a raptor. Minus a few comforts, the Pro is absolutely worth every penny and far more. Couldn't be more happy. It is an awesome truck that has a single switch V8 and a true 6Speed tranny. IMG_1347.jpg IMG_1348.jpg IMG_1342.jpg IMG_1343.jpg

Mine is here today - obligatory pics to follow once I at least get steps on it. Otherwise none stock Black Pro.

FYI - if anyone in Ohio is looking for a MGM CM Pro at sticker - got a lead on one coming to Marion in 2 weeks. PM and I’ll give contact info.

I'm currently hunting for one. No dealerships around here will let me order one, they will only contact me once one is allocated to them. I also am hoping to get one this year.

Just put a deposit on a ‘21 CM MGM PRO today. Being built 7/7, should be arriving early august. Time to start hoarding mods.

dealer gave me a great trade in on my ‘16 Tacoma.

You didn't happen to order that from a georgia dealer? I ordered a white trd pro on June 16 with the same build date of 7/7 and there was a MGM available at the same time.

Called across the whole country finding a 21 PRO CM is rare, and when I did find one they want 10k over MSRP, anybody got the hookups anywhere. Struggling over here to find one.

    preferably trying to do a
    2021 Tundra TRD PRO CM
    Metallic Grey
    Predator Steps
    Bedliner

Also settling for any other color besides White. and the options are not a make or break. If anybody can help out it would be appreciated!
