Two 10" Kicker Comp R in Custom enclosure

If anyone wondered if 2 sealed 10" Kicker Comp R would bump in a Tundra, I'm here to tell you they do. Kicker is usually overlooked by many. One thing is, you need a custom box built. Mine was built and tested by Al and Eds in Huntington Beach, CA.

Nice did you buy there sub box thru a web site? Also I did not get my tundra pro yet waiting on it. Where did you put the floor Jack that is on the passenger side behind the seat. Just curious to see what guys are doing with adding a double sub. Thanks.

 

The floor jack is still there, just had to move the tools. I had it built by Al and Eds Autosound out here in CA. They had to use fiberglass to fit the subs because of the mounting depth

Did you wire this directly to the stock head unit? Specifically the amp? Or did you have to upgrade the head unit?

 

It's wired from Stock HU to two AMPs with high-level inputs. OneAmp for Sub and One for front and rear speakers.

Gotcha. So there's an output from head unit specificially for the sub amp? Or are you just relying on the high pass filter for the sub and low pass for the doors?

 

The stock system had an amp under the passenger seat which made it easy. Only had to buy an adapter and tapped one the front speaker output to the amp. The amp high-level inputs adjust everything else.
