So, I've seen their name pop up from time to time on Apex Details YT channel. He seems to like a lot of their stuff, and I just realized that they are only about 45 minutes away from me in NJ. Some of their products look promising, and I think I'll be taking a ride up there between Christmas and New Years to bend their ear a little. For anyone who is interested, the can be found at 877askxtreme.com/. I like the look of their 403 glaze....will probably be picking up a bottle and experimenting with it in the springtime.

I just picked up Jersey Devil, Poly Seal and Topper from them. So far I have only used the Topper on my son's truck and the shine and gloss is impressive.

I bought a bunch of their stuff. Topper, poly seal, lvr 403, and lvr369. I'm excited to try it out once the weather gets better. I'm on the Apex Detail FB group, and Xtreme Solutions is a group favorite for sure. Brian from Apex really likes their stuff and highly recommends them. I like Brian, he gives honest opinions of products along with actual reading I and numbers to back them up.

I also like the fact that he buys the stuff he is testing, and he uses products from some little known companies. I also liked his review of Hybrid Solutions 1 and done. I've been a fan of 3D One since it came out, and supposedly this stuff finishes better.

So....I never got up there over the holidays like I thought I was going to.....but I did just order some stuff from them. I was intrigued by their Xtreme Suds shampoo, which Apex Detail listed as his #2 car soap. A gallon of it is only 16.99, so I went for it. I figured for that price, it was worth the gamble. Tried it out today out of the foam cannon. Every video I''ve seen speaks to how thick the foam is, and it is decent. The first thing you notice is the grape scent. I mixed it in the cannon at 10:1, with 2 oz of soap and 20 oz of water. I had enough to go around the truck one time with a little left over. The truck was not that dirty, with the exception of the wheel wells, so I wanted to see how it did on that heavy dirt. I was more testing it as a pre-wash (touchless) , and it fared well. It did a good job clinging, was not runny nor was it in a hurry to run off the paint. Overall, it foams well, cleans well and rinses well. Contact wash will be next.

That's the good part. The bad part is that Xtreme charged me 10.00 to ship it, and they do not run sales. If they want to escape being almost a niche or cult product line, they will have to work on their marketing and sales skills a little.

Did you use Code Apex for the discount??? I really like their stuff, but like anyone, probably have to order certain price or bulk to avoid shipping costs

I need to re-up on Jersey Devil and Topper, but I think I'll wait a couple more weeks and keep an eye on the weather since Jersey Devil doesn't do well in cold weather transport.

No....forgot there was an Apex discount. I'd really like to see these guys step out of the shadows a little. I think their product line has a lot to offer, it just seems like they just do a poor job of marketing it. There are a couple of YouTube detailers giving their lineup good reviews, but in such a competitive and flooded market, you need more than that to stand out.

True! I know Brian from Apex reviews their stuff and had good things to say. And a few groups I'm on have said good things, outside of that, would never ever hear of them... Definitely a tough saturated market

So....update on the Xtreme Suds shampoo. In the foam cannon, it seemed pretty decent....a good value at its price point. Today, I loaded it in the foam gun and put 2oz in approximately 3.5 gallons of water in the wash bucket. In this application, it's underwhelming to say the least. It's slickness in the bucket I'd give a B-.....nowhere near as slick as Jay Lenos vehicle wash or P&S Pearl shampoo. It makes decent suds out of the foam gun, but truthfully, I've never had any shampoo make anything other than decent suds out if it.

I'm going to try a little more shampoo in the water next time and see if it makes a difference. I can afford to surrender a little more product in the bucket due to the price. It was a little cold this morning, and I know that cold temps will affect suds, so I'm not throwing in the towel yet. I'll give it another chance to impress me.

Update on the update......washed the truck tonight and added 3oz in the bucket with 3 oz of water, and over 3 oz in the foam gun......it is still unimpressive. I've no idea what Brian from Apex Detail saw in this soap.....maybe his water is better than mine. Foam gun yielded less than stellar results, and had 3 oz in 3 gallons of water in the bucket......it is just okay. I will say it is nowhere near as good as Megs HyperWash, which has a much better dilution rate. I now have a big bottle of wheel soap

Update on the two previous updates......Decided that the Xtreme Suds would be used up in the wheel bucket, and maybe trying 4oz in the cannon. Wheel bucket suds were gone in no time, 4oz in the cannon gave decent foam. On the up side, used LVR403 as a base for a one-year spray coating. It is a good product, and when combined with the coating (Dr Beasleys LS-10), it gave excellent depth of color on the truck.

If anyone is in south Jersey and wants some of the soap, I'll be glad to part with it.

Interesting to hear another opinion on the Xtreme Suds. Before I read your post I almost picked some up when I ordered some more Jersey Devil and Topper. I decided to try P&S Pearl shampoo and I'm really liking it. It has great lubricity, foams the way I like it (I don't really measure), seems to have decent cleaning power and rinses off very well, even if it dries on the paint.

Both Xtreme Suds and P&S Pearl are near the same price point.....and for my money, it's Pearl hands down. Works well in the bucket and well in the foam cannon.
