    Not a kingpin style hitch. So no "fifth wheel" in the bed. Has a funny hybrid trailer ball hitch thingy mounted in the bed. Kind of like one of those 5th wheel hitch brackets that flips and has a trailer ball for towing a gooseneck. Wasn't a very heavy duty looking piece of kit. Sat up high like a fifth wheel setup, not low like a gooseneck ball would.

    Yeah. I agree on needing a bigger truck if considering trying to max out the existing 1st Gen Capacity.

    My logic in the earlier post is based on the 1st Gen Specs across the board when comparing Regular Cab 2wd and Access Cab 4wd. Same frame and suspension but the components weight is the difference in hauling +/-1400lbs or +/-1700lbs.
