ok so i looked alot b4 asking but im sure i missed similar posts .

2015 4x4 sr5

1. i have the stock touch screen no entune apps or navi .is the navi units any louder ? or is there a upgraded direct replacement with the steering wheel controls still working ? i can turn up the factory radio max with no distortion or issues on xm or cd on radio its noiseyish and on usb music its alot louder .

2.i wanna upgrade the headlights and tailights .i have drl lights and auto adjusting ones i do not and will not spend 1200 bucks for headlights ......... so if no auto adjusting will that be a issue as far as using them and typicaly do you have too adjust them outta the box ? and on both headlights and tail lights is there any thing i need too add when upgrading too led/projector setups ?

3.installing aftermarket led fog lights hard ? anyone have a good link too a direct replacement ?

4.looking at a set of factory 20 inch wheels and tires ( mine r 18s ) speedo shouldnt be off much or any though ? all stock tiresizes

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! It would help a lot if you gave details about your truck (year, trim level, etc.). Most of those questions are addressed in various areas of this forum. The only question I can answer is your last one. The outside diameter of the tires is what affects the speedometer. Typically, the sidewall of tires on 18" rims for the Tundra is taller, resulting in the same diameter regardless of 18" vs 20" rims. That is assuming stock tires. Of course there are a lot of options for larger tires that have larger diameters, which definitely affects the speedometer.

On #1 - other than possibly the JBL setup (with separate amp and sub), you won't get any noticeable volume difference out of any of the factory audio options. And even the JBL system isn't anything to write home about. You are best off looking at an aftermarket head unit that has idatalink Maestro compatibility. The Maestro unit connects between the factory wiring and the aftermarket stereo and retains all of the original factory steering wheel controls and other functions except for XM radio and the Bluetooth microphone. Aftermarket head units will have their own Bluetooth microphone they come with (the Toyota one is powered rather than passive and aftermarket units don't use that setup). For XM radio (if you use it), you can add a tuner and transfer subscription over to the new one.

For general research, you can check out Crutchfield.com to get an idea on the different options for head units, and what is needed for other parts to install. You can also look at units that are CarPlay (apple) or Android Auto capable, and then you can use your phone's apps for things like navigation and music.

Headlight upgrade - I think the best for the money is the OEM LED headlights (2019 and newer trucks) - either the PRO if you don't like chrome inside the light or Limited/Platinum/1794 if you like the chrome. Get an @iHacker harness to hook it up and retain the functions you already have or want.

Taillights - I don't have any experience with third party LED taillights. I've always heard of quality issues with them (and headlights) and have just avoided them. I swapped out all of my bulbs for LEDs and the only ones you need to do anything with are the rear turn signals - you'll need to add resistors at each bulb.

Fog lights - do you currently have fog lights, or are you starting from scratch? I've always had trucks that came with them, so I don't have any experience with adding after-markets. But I know a lot of people on here have...so hopefully someone else can chime in.

And as for the tires - like Kelly said, the outside diameter of your tire will impact your speedometer reading. Changing to bigger wheels will make your sidewall smaller and (depending on the tire) can affect ride (less tire flex to take up bumps). Stock size for 20" rims is going to be the same OD on the tire, so you won't gain any height or lift. It's all about what you want the truck to look like. If you want to gain a little height and have a little more aggressive look without seeing any noticeably change in your speedometer, then I'd suggest looking at 275/70R18 tires to go on your current wheels. That is one size larger (adds about 1" to the OD of the tire), and will fit on a stock Tundra without requiring a lift.

Then the hard part is done. I don't have any experience with any fogs on the Gen 3 except those that came with my TRD Pro, which are Rigid LEDs.
