I'll do a little back story, a few years back I bought a 2003 tacoma with a broken frame but knew it was getting fixed through Toyota. I was on Tacoma world all the time and ended up purchasing a arb bumper, retro fitted my headlights, bought total chaos ucas, king 2.5's all the way around, put 285's on it and a set of methods. I loved that truck but the truck was very limiting with the amount of bed space. Here's a pic of it.
    Screenshot_20210320-230238_Instagram.jpg

After selling it I leased a chevy 1500 and hated it right away.... I drove that for 2 years and ended up finding my Tundra that I have now. It was a 1 owner when I purchased it, it's a 2012 double cab 4x4 with the 5.7.

Now I instantly had the itch to mod it... I purchased a set of bilstein 5100s and put them on the front with a .25 spacer from coach builder. That was great for on road but then I missed how my Kings felt offroad.

    My current mods:

    Suspension
    -Dirt King ucas
    -ADS 2.5 coilovers with resi
-ADS 2.5 rear shocks with resi
    -Sway bar delete
    -trimmed stock skid plate

    Performance
-BA muffler 8" dumped before the bed

    Armor
    -Reszfab front bumper
    -Mazzulla rear bumper

    Wheels & Tires
    -315/70/17 Bfg ko2s
-17 inch BMF DRT wheels, +8 offset

    Lighting
-30 inch rough country single row black series led bar
    -2 baja designs sport s2's
    -Alla lighting led reverse lights
    -Alla lighting led brake lights

    Exterior
    -color matched front grille surround
    -plasti dipped toyota emblem
    -debadged

    Interior
    -husky liners
    -tinted the front windows

    Thanks!

It's way different than my tacoma was. This has all the power I need plus some. It takes some getting use to. My tacoma had the 3.4 in it. From the factory it had 181 hp... then add 285s on top of that and 170xxx miles... foot to the floor was the only way to get it to move it seemed like haha!

I love Traverse City - I grew up near the Petoskey area and Traverse City was the nearest mall. My God, what a shitty mall. But the rest of Traverse City is amazing - that freaking coastline... Love it.

Yup its still terrible! I miss driving along east and west bay pretty much every day. That and state land all over the place which was amazing for 2 tracking, shooting, and finding ponds to fish way back in the woods. Thats the stuff I miss, they are trying to build it up now, seems like every time I go up there to visit there's a new store being built

I don't make it up there very much any more - the last time I drove up was a few years ago and I couldn't believe how built up it is. Petoskey is the same way. Apparently people have figured it out. I was reading an article the other day about how nice Petoskey is. Unfortunately it said it's become so expensive to live there that most of the locals find it unaffordable.

Yeah it seems like all the small towns up north are all building up and traverse city is almost unaffordable as well. You can work in traverse but you pretty much have to live in the outskirts like Interlochen, grawn, Kingsley, or like fife lake just to be able to afford paying your bills. It's getting really bad up there.

Same! Thinking I'll have my buddy weld up the hitch higher in due time. Then mount the bumper up and decide what angle I will want to dovetail the bedsides, all depends on how the rear looks with the bumper on though

Well I installed the Mazzulla rear bumper today. Now to find some time to dovetail the bed and figure out what angle I like the most...

Well I said screw it and decided to cut the rear bedsides today. I'm very happy with the results!

Thanks! I'll have to fab up the factory hitch but I don't have a boat right now so I'm not really worried about it and just want to soak it in for now!

I appreciate it bro! Not into putting a bunch of fancy gizmos on it, I just want it to have a sleeper sort of look. At the dunes there was a dad and son in a new Yamaha yzx side by side and I passed him in the whoops. After I got through the section and slowed down he passed me giving me a thumbs up. That makes it all worth it haha!
