The top piece is basically just a boot that is a press fit over the bottom portion of the joint to retain the grease. Looking at the pic, it looks pretty worn, I would check those for sure.

Take the weight off the tire and check for any excessive play, side to side, and up and down in the joint.

    Normal.

Grease bladders plump full with minor film leakage at the steering knuckle contact surface. As long as the joint has grease, no worries. Drive it until replacement required; i.e. no grease in bladder and/or discernable wear in the joint, whichever comes first.

Life will depend on service, but for normal driving, I've observed old-school Toyota tie rod ends go ~200K miles without replacement.

Torn or normal? Boot looks normal in the angles provided. Joint could be worn, can't tell by looking at them. If the truck drives normal, no worries. If you're having issues, then investigate. Play in the joint means time to replace.

Not too much grease coming out so I say it looks like average wear. I saw grease coming out on mine the other day so I think you’re good
