What makes you angry?

Though I understand your frustration with people who pass you, the semi trucks are not always doing that kind of thing on purpose. Generally the trucks are governed, or heavy loaded, so they are pushed as absolutely fast as they can manage at all times. When pulling 80,000 pounds variations in terrain and even wind result in an ebb and flow of speed. Trust me, the drivers want to get by or be passed and left alone just as much as you do.

 

Leave your gate open. Just a tip from a delivery driver. Most likely they think you have a dog and don't want to get bitten. Also if your gate is in the even a slight PITA to get open I won't go thru it, because I know it will be a royal PITA to get closed/latched. Then I'll get blamed for leaving your gate open if it doesn't latch, your dog got out and run over by a car.

 

@Aron9000 I once was going much faster than I should have in a work van. Unfortunately I passed a general manager from our Los Angeles shop (I worked for shop in a different county). He called my shop and told them I blew by him doing 90.

I responded to my boss over the nextel, "He's a liar and tell him I said that. This truck is governed at 85, there's no way I was doing 90."

My boss didn't like that response.

 

So you'll drop the package marked FRAGILE over the gate because it didn't get oiled that morning?


This is why I get stuff delivered to the warehouse at work. Commercial with big bay doors, and people there to reject packages that have been used like footballs by delivery companies.

 

I used to leave it open. Fair points, but some drivers leave stuff in the carport next to my car. The part that bothers me is the box says handle with care all over it. I think next time i will opt for signature required and hope that covid didn't ruin that.

 

Driving 1:15 minutes south to Beaufort and back home first thing in the morning then 430 miles one way to Poquoson VA and back all in 16 hours.

Took me 1.5 hours to get from Temple GA to freakin' Six Flags the other day. Added a full hour to my drive home. If I could figure out a way around Atlanta I would, it's a freakin' open cesspool.

Why are there so goddamn many people around here who drive under the speed limit when the road is clear and dry, weather is good and traffic is light to moderate? And why do they do it in the middle lane?

 

The number 1 reason??...phones!

 

Finally decided to answer this question after lurking this thread for a while now..Got some pretty great laughs and DEFINITELY understand a lot of these statements.

I have no problems whatsoever with people having dogs, we have 2 and know how to control them.
But the neighbors behind us have one and have no idea how to control it. Barking at all hours of the night, 10pm- sometimes at 2 am..
Theres nothing more that irritates me than when we are in bed trying to get some sleep and this dog will NOT stop..
Well, I had it the other night..It was about 1:30am and this dog started in, about 90 seconds i ran out the back door and hollered at the top of my lungs while beating on the side of the garage with one of my flippy floppys.."SHUT THE F&*K UP!!!!"
I heard them come and usher the dog inside very quickly..
Needless to say we haven't had that problem of barking at night since

 

If you have tips for stopping a dog from barking at every little noise he hears at night, I'm all ears.

Dumb drivers make me mad. Dumb people make me mad but give them a car to drive around it’s just bad.

 

I'm mostly concerned about him waking up our infant daughter.

 

Keep them inside at night. They'll love you for it.

 

He's inside but our window is open so we don't die of heat stroke.

 

Ugh. I hate having guitar amps shipped to my house. There’s almost always a cold solder joint or something wrong with the tolex or tweed because it got dropped who knows how many times. No one who works at any of the shipping companies gives a single F.

Most of my stuff is vintage these days anyway. Really would hate to have a shipping issue with irreplaceable vintage transformers. I keep an eye out locally and try to play before I buy.

 

I was super hesitant to buy one online but the music stores near me have been pretty disappointing lately. Used stuff I find on Craigslist or whatever people want way too much for.

 

What makes me angry is the fact that every time I see the title of this thread I think it reads "What makes you hungry?" Every. Single. Time.

 

Sunday afternoons for me, apparently...

 

Not angry, but how come every time I walk my dogs they have to search for 5 minutes to poop in just the right spot, knowing damn well I will pick it up?
can't fight instincts I guess.

 

People who text you asking about if you still have something for sale, you answer right back that you do and the fucker never replies back.

 

Or why does my dog get so agitated if he can't pee every 5 seconds while out on a walk?

 

Yesterday Morning at Costco I came across a jug of milk in the clothing area. Someone decided they didn’t need it.

 

I hate lazy assholes who do shit like that.
