In case anyone is still questioning the MX4 fit, I just installed one on my 2017 crewmax. The rear sits up higher on the tailgate than my old F1 but looks like it has a decent seal. We have had a lot of rain over the last 48 hours and no evidence of water from the rear lip. On the other hand, there are holds at the rear rail channel that allows water to pour into the rear corners of the bed

@Hawkdriver19 Were you able to find a fix with the leaking issue in the rear channels?

    TinyTundra,
I took dense foam and glued it to where the holes are. When the tailgate is closed the foam is pinched in place and does a pretty good job of keeping the water out of the tailgate. I thought about putting some RTV in the hole but haven’t done it yet.

So I finally got mine installed. Does one side (left for me) sit higher than the right on the tailgate?
When the gate is down it’s fine. When the gate goes up, the cover on the left side lifts
