@Roman and anyone else who might know: Any idea the part number for these wheels? They're TSS Sequoia/Tundra OEM, and I probably need a set like a hole in the head, but you know how that goes...

Nice wheel setup. Are you on the stock TRD suspension? I have the TRD sport (same suspension) and not trying to modify suspension since i have a lease. Might go with a similiar tire size (295/55R20) might be smaller.
What did you do besides remove mud flaps to avoid rubbing?

I do have a 3/1 inch leveling kit, and had the littlest rub on the driver side front part of the inner wheel well all I did was use a heat gun and softened it up and slightly pushed it in. I didn't want to cut my shit up.

No problems with the balance at all and I watched a bunch of reviews on them befor I pulled the trigger, and some guy had 50k and still probably had 10k more miles on them. He also said he wasn't easy on them. But he rotated them every 7k-10k. But the price I got them for were Luke $254.00 each also its a 12ply tire. To be honest I thought they would be extremely stiff. But I can't tell the difference from the nittos I had on befor. I know the earlier tires had problems staying round, but from what I understand they fixed the problem a year ago or something like that.

Appreciate it. Just put them through 10 days in the backcountry and a 1,200 mile road trip. So far I like the ride. They’re tight on pavement and feel good on dirt, especially at speed. I don’t have much to compare but I’d say they are on the stiffer side. I prefer that for a rig that spends time on both pavement and dirt.

Hey everybody. Just ordered 6112 set at 2.5. Goofing to run airbags in rear to help with tow sag. I’m looking at the method mr703 wheels but can only find them in an offset of 35, is that going to poke out to far? Any pics or info? Also going to run ridge grapplers 285/75/17. Thanks in advance

Depends on what you think too far will be. It’s going to noticeably stick out though.

Look at pics of +25 throughout this post and others. I say +25 cuz there’s lots and not may +35 but +35 will be just a tad less poke.

These are Method 701 +25(+35 will be a tad less poke like Barret50 said). Tires are 285/75/18 which are the same 11.2in width as your 285/75/17’s. I would say +35 would be flush with your fender.

I’m looking to get method mr703 but can only find them offered in a 0 or +35 offset. 35 will suck the wheel to far in towards the truck am I correct? Will the 0 offset sit flush with fenders? I’m really looking for the tires to poke out a little bit so I should be looking for like a -12 offset. Is my thinking correct here? Offsets are confusing me

The +35 will pull them in, a 0 offset will stick outside the fenders a little, it will not be flush.

Ok great that’s what I was thinking. So a negative number will pull them out past the fenders correct? Will I have any issues running a 0 offset with 285/75/17 bilstein 6112 at 2.5?

The stock offset is 60 mm (ET60). Take a metric ruler and measure how far the disk will stick out. The same tire will stick out further for the same 60 mm with offset 0 wheels.

The width of the wheel matters also. You’re going with a wider tire and a wider wheel. With 0 offset it means everything is centered up with the middle of the wheel which if I’m not mistaken means you’re going to be closer to the your fenders some. I’m no expert, but I’m assuming since the tires you want are about 1/2 inch wider than stock and the wheel is 1/2 inch wider than stock. You will probably be looking at some minor trimming and definitely removing the front mud flaps to avoid rubbing.

A lift or leveling kit may help. 2.5” is solid. But it’s hard to say for sure if you’re going to avoid rubbing.

For reference. My truck has a 2.4” leveling kit, 275/70R18 tires, and 18x9 wheels with a +20 offset.

I had to remove front mud flaps and trim a little bit of plastic off of my front fenders to mitigate rubbing at hard turns in reverse.

I have 295/70/17s with 6112s set at about 1.75". I trimmed and pushed the wheel well liner in-still rub on flaps but only in reverse and left them on. I think you'll be fine with 285s; if anything it will be light plastic trimming.

Mine are +12 offset, so 0 would stick out further. But my tires are 12.5 inch wide so that also pushes them out a bit.

Hello all I am thinking of purchasing 325 65 r18 falken wildpeak A/t3w on method 305s. Does anyone have this set up or at the very least wildpeaks? If so how do you like Falken Wildpeaks A/t3w?

I’ve been running AT3w in 295/70R18 for over a year and I’m very happy with them. They’ve been wearing well and are decently quiet for the tread IMO. Here they are with Raceline Gauge wheels, +18 mm offset:

That looks really nice. I just placed my order for method 305 nv in matte black and falken wildpeaks in 35s from cali-raised offroad. I am so excited after seeing your set up.

    I'm considering a set of method 316's
Will a +18 offset with cause alot of paint chips with stock size tires?
The roads in my area are covered by the tar and chip crap, lot's of loose gravel.

Depends on width of tires. Anything wider then 275/285 and there's a chance you'll fling rocks on to body. I have +25 with 295 wide tires and they stick out about 1/2" beyond body and I can hear rocks bounce off body every once in a while. Fender flares will cure the problem.

Any rubbing.. looking at maybe getting those, but the Toyo AT3s in that size. I have 6112 @ 1.9 in the front. curious to see if 295 have some space between the tire and UCA and or if they rub bad.

No rubbing on anything metal I did remove the rear flap but I had the same offset wheels as you. I ran the stock suspension for about a month and then Installed 6112’s at 1.9”. I would definitely consider the 295/60’s if you want to fill the wells a little more. I think they would fit. Especially with a tire like the at3
