Good morning everyone, my wife’s really Interested in getting a new full size SUV and narrowed down to a Sequoia or Expedition the thing we Both FRACKING HATED was the Auto stop. We haven’t drove an Sequoia yet since they are kind of scares, do they new ones have the auto stop that kills the engine upon stopping. I tell you that’s the Worst thing a car maker has ever installed in a vehicle.

Pretty sure the Sequoia doesn't have that feature. Same engine and drivetrain as the Tundra, which definitely doesn't have it.
I bet the next generation will though.

I've never owned a vehicle with that "feature", but driven several rentals with it and I always wondered how much wear that is causing the motor to start/stop like that literally hundreds of times a day. Certainly the oil starts draining as soon as it cuts off, and then restarts dry before the oil gets circulated again. That can't be worth the $0.13 in daily fuel savings it might get. Not to mention its just unnatural and annoying.

My 2017 Highlander has that feature....
Toyota / Lexus have a two stage brake pedal switch the if you moderate it while at rest and don’t let your foot sink while your at rest, the engine will continue to run idle.
If you approach a stop and come to rest, it’s natural for your foot to press down activating the second stage of the pedal switch.
So that will keep your engine idle vs it cutting off at rest. That feature is controlled and dependent on the brake light / pedal switch.

Yes, but only the RAV4 and Highlander have that feature on the Toyota side, the Sequoia doesn't, which is what the OP was asking about.

My wife’s 2020 Sequoia Pro does not have the auto stop. Can’t speak for the 2021?
