    Hey peeps...

Ordered some parts online and was surprised by an Alameda county tax?? Don't live in the area, but I see Kali has taxed the shit out of it... State, County, Municipality, and an additional county that I don't live in. Anyone know what's the deal??
We paying extra for Musk's egress??

Nope, you are paying for CA. to keep up with all the people and companies leaving the state.

Completely agree with your concept, but this tax just started this year, I've ordered stuff online before in Nor Kal, but never encountered the Alameda tax. Late last year dude moved his HQ to Texas somewhere, so there may be a link, besides the silver lining.. I'm not denying we're being run in to the ground though, it only takes a moment to look around and see we're up shit's creek only a matter of time before it becomes an avalanche we wont be able to see through.

    Too many, but not enough....
That breakdown list is new, but the tax has always been there, just rolled up into 1 line item 99% of the time. This year, some county tax rates jumped by 1%, mine was one of them (if I am not mistaken it takes effect today) :(
