My 2016 does for 30-45 secs then it drops to idle RPMs. But nothing I would consider high or abnormal.

Wait until you get to know the group on here. When you do, the post @Sean266 replied is pretty funny. He is into weightlifting & kids coloring books while piss drunk.

Another part if this, and common to Toyotas with belt driven fans, is that the viscous fan hub stays engaged for 10-20 seconds on cold start up, depending on temperature. The fan being engaged makes it roar much louder, and sound like it's revving higher than it is. Also normal.

I had a Viper Remote Start installed at Audio Express. It works great! now I can fire my truck up in the mornings to let it warm up while I drink my Coffee. Problem solved!
