Confused on which year sequoia's can accommodate the 2020 TRD Pro grill's? I have a 2017 Platinum and I have yet to find any definitive answers if it can be swapped out. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

All 2nd gen sequoias (includes yours) are candidate's for the transplant. You'll need the grill and the bulge to complete the transition, or you can go the route I went and but a Chinese knockoff that is one piece. Hope this helps, good luck with the conversion!

Great, the facelift is a great way to bring new life into an older looking vehicle. You may want to begin your hunt for headlights as well to complete the transformation. Your 3 options are alpharex (what I have currently), Morimoto, and OEM 2018+ (what I am converting to). The latter, combined with the grill, will make the front end look like a 2020 TRd Pro. Post pics along the way. Welcome to the site btw. This is by far the best forum I have ever been a part of. Most members are extremely helpful and responsive. You WILL spend a lot of money here though, there are a lot of ideas on modifications.

@Beau is right. The grille is only the tip of the ice burg. I hope you have deep pockets...

Oh, I know what it’s like eating ramen to be able to afford your next big part buy. Here is my 2016 JKU that I have pretty much completed for now. Recently re-geared to 4.88 in preparation to put 37s on.

Just bought a 2016 SR5 that I will be blacking out and converting to SR5 PRO. Does anyone know how different the attitude black (218) color code is from black (202)? Wondering how bad it will look to not paint to match. What have you guys been charged to professionally paint the TRD pro grill?

Attitude black has metallic flakes in it. I think that’s really the only difference, but definitely a noticeable difference in the sun.

    best of luck!

I've been wondering the same thing.

Wonder how big of a difference it really is? Guess there is only one way to find out.

    Inspired by @Beau .
2008 Platinum with black TRD pro grill and a pearl white hood bulge/070. The bulge is not the exact match to the 2008/071 but pretty close.
Or maybe my hood had faded just enough.
    Cheapie Spyders and mirror covers/202.

The link didn't turn up the result for me and through some digging led me to an option (I think) below. It's listed as a Tundra grille and buldge... Any idea if it will work/fit without additional modifications on my 2017 Sequoia Limited? Thanks all.

You can get a Toyota TRD Pro grill and bulge for a Sequoia for about $415 shipped from Moderntoyota.com.

For anyone that's looking to swap the TRD pro grille onto their Sequoia or 2nd Gen Tundra here's what I found when doing some research. This list is the part number and the Toyota color name and paint code.

    Grille Part numbers
    PT363-0C200-BL - ATTITUDE BLACK MC.,218
    PT363-0C200-EV - DK.GREEN,06V7
    PT363-0C200-G1 - LUNAR ROCK, 06X3
    PT363-0C200-GY - GRAY ME.,1G3
    PT363-0C200-WT - SUPER WHITE 2,040

    Grille molding part numbers
    53111-0C240-A0 - SUPER WHITE 2,040

    53111-0C240-G1 - TRD PRO PACKAGE,URBAN KHAKI,6X3

Any Toyota dealer should be able to get what you need but pricing will vary. You can google "parts toyota" and get a huge list of potential dealers. I found parts.salinastoyota.com to have good pricing and free shipping on orders over $75. Others have had good luck with mcgeorge toyota, sparksparts, toyota of cool springs, etc. You can shop around and check the pricing of the parts themselves but make sure to put them in your cart and check the cost of shipping as well. There is a big variation in shipping charges from different dealers.

Just to clarify, do you need the brackets (53118-0C030 and 53117-0C030) for a 2008 Sequoia? Sounds like yes for the Tundra, but I wasn't 100% sure on a Sequoia(scanned a couple hundred posts across those 21 pages but may have missed it). Thanks!

I didn't need to buy any extra brackets for mine. The sequoia brackets are all the same, whereas, the Tundra had a bracket change in 2010 (ish) which necessitates the need for other brackets. Hope this helps.

From what I recall, you need 2 or 3 screws to connect the molding to the grill (and then attach to your hood). You can either buy the screws or use screws from your original grill. Its a pretty straight forward process.

    2016 Sequoia Platinum
Hi - I have a 2016 Sequoia Platinum and before pulling the trigger on some parts am seeking confirmation on the following:

The 2020 TRD Grill and Surround (parts PT363-0C200-GY and 53111-0C240-B1) will fit on the 2016 Sequoia. Is this correct? I ask because the dealer says they don't know.

No additional parts except some screws are needed for the swap. Is that correct?

Is the swapping out of the grills pretty straightforward for the not-so-mechanically inclined?

    Thanks!
