Just saw your other post too, thanks for clarifying!

Sorry about your luck, I'm hoping my order is all intact (shipping to Hawaii :fingerscrossed:). I wasn't impressed with their customer service when trying to find out when my stuff was gonna ship so hopefully there aren't any issues... I'll update when it gets here, says the 5th so we'll see...

Would autopia be any different? For some reason I thought they were sister companies?

Trying to start a business over here so a good source is gonna be needed...

Autotopia is the same company the parent company is PBMG if ordering CarPro by from sky’s the limit also shine supply offers awesome products and based in Cali so you would get it faster. For general supplies I recommend detailed image and rag company.

4L of ironX Container failed on the shelf and started leaking on the seam. It was on my surplus shelf behind 2 4L of reset and a 4L of elixir none of those have a issue. I reached out to CarPro and they said because I bought from autogeek that I need to try and get it resolved by them. They also said if they are not willing to do anything they will step in and make it right.

When I began ordering products I used detailed image and they have always been solid but Autogeek is based in Florida so shipping is usually pretty quick so I have been using them for the last year and a half

I buy all my CarPro stuff from Sky's the Limit. Customer service goes a long way and they are the best along with Shine Supply. I know they are more money and rarely have sales but I value their customer service.

I believe in putting value on customer service. Hell when addressing this issue on Insta both Griots and Shine reached out to me telling me they would have taken care of the issue. Honestly I want nothing for free just send me a new empty bottle so I don't need to throw 3L of this product away.

Im a fan of Groits products but quick question on decontamination.

Will I achieve any better results with one over the other?

I've never used Griots Iron and Fallout remover, but I have used Iron-X, and it has always worked very well. Two products from two outstanding companies...seems like a toss up to me?

New tires and rims will be showing up in the next week or so.

They will be shipped to me separately.

Do you recommend doing something like Dura Coating before installing the tires to the rim and then to the truck? It seems like it would be much easier to do it before than after. Any thoughts?

Also, given the rims will be separate from the tires for a few days, any recommendations on ceramic coating the wheels and what product to use?

As a note, I just ceramic coated the truck but I ran out of product. So I'd have to buy something new.

For the rims.....Car Pro Dlux or Gyeon Rim for a coating. I'm not familiar with Dura Coating, but doing it ahead of them being mounted on the rims might make sense....but there's always the possibility that the tire coating could get impacted when they are being mounted. I've never tried to to a coating, or a dressing for that matter, on brand new tires. I'd always heard that you needed to wait to allow the mold release agent time to dissipate.

I think I'll ceramic coat the wheels but leave the tires alone for a few weeks/months. Then I may try dura coat or a longer term tire shiner like it.
