Seems like Tundras are going up in price. Last year I paid 19k for 2013 DC Base 4x4 Barcelona Red
What could I get out of it today? Has 116,000 miles

*** What Im really asking is could I trade up to a used 3rd gen without much out of pocket? Thinking about finding a dealership with a good used truck and see what deal they'd do

Ignore the camper shell, its gone now. Takes 5k off the asking price just looking like an old man truck lol

Well maybe you should mention exactly which market you are in for starters?

And then start asking dealers and see.

Don't know what you consider much out of pocket. I am going to say you are going to have to pay at least $20k.

let's say they give you $22k for your truck. I am not seeing many 3rd gems for less than $40k even used. 1 Toyota dealer here had a 2016 1794 with 88k miles and it was listed for $57k. The crazy thing is it sold in less than a week..... Now I know that is a 1794, but if I was looking for a 3rd gen, I would expect to pay within 5k of new if it has less than 100k miles on it. So I think you would be in the $33k - $40k range for a 3rd Gen depending on features. I am talking SR5 by the way. I have not seen a Limited or Platinum used for under $45k regardless of miles.....

    Alot of them
Carvana will give you more than a dealer. They gave me $17,740 in Oct for my 2013 2wd 4.6 with 97k miles. As far as a 3rd gen, used prices are as high as new. The interest rates are also higher for used. I would look at a new one if you are considering an upgrade.

Actually I just did a search on autotrader for SR5 Tundra, within 100 miles of me, 2014 and newer.

The cheapest SR5 was a 2015 with 181k mikes that had been in some kind of wreck for $26,995. Don't know that is worth upgrading to and in reality would require $5-7k out of pocket to upgrade.

You could probably get more than what you paid for it, but you'd still be putting in money.
What exactly are you wanting to upgrade from your current truck?
