    Hey Guys,

Just bought a brand new MGM Tundra and looking to keep the paint in good shape. To be honest I know I'm not going to spend countless hours detailing but looking for a simple and easy to use product after washing.

Would something like the Griots 3-1 Ceramic spray on product fit the bill here? Also what are some things I should NOT do. I know that I should avoid using a product like this in the hot sun.

    Any tips are appreciated!

Griots 3 in 1 has some shown some good durability, streaking in humid climates is the only negative I've heard about it; apply it to the towel vs the surface and you'll be fine.

The best low maintenance product would be a ceramic coating, you apply them once and they last 12 months or more. You just wash them and they do their thing. The downside is a true coating requires extensive prep which includes claying and paint correction/machine polishing. It really is a low maintenance option but you pay with effort upfront.

For simple spray-on I've used "The Last Coat 2.0" TLC2.0 as a base and have had it last 12 months, you don't have to reapply it every wash and it gives some really good shine and slickness. There are other SiO2 coatings that are fairly easy to apply that are in the same category. I use Gyeon Wet Coat on rim/wheels but it is another example of easy application where you spray it on and pressure wash it off. No need to buff or wipe anything. There are also polymer based sealants like P&S Beadmaker that easy to apply and give great luster and water repellancy the only down side is that it doesn't last long at less than a month of durability. It is cheap stuff and has some impressive hydrophobic properties. **Edit: There are other products on the high end that yield very impressive results; these are usually imported from Germany or Japan and stand in class of their own. There is also a price premium that comes with them.

You can also consider some of the "Wash and Wax" soaps if you want to cut down on time. These basically reduce everything to one step so no additional waxing is required. They aren't very durable waxes but will usually last a few weeks and the cleaning power for these tends to be good except for really tough jobs. If you go with this option stick with the main brands some of the off brand stuff will streak or leave unwanted residue.

I’m good at the not do list...
    1 off roading
2 park it in the driveway
    3 use a brush
4 take it to a car wash
5 let me handle your detailing (back to brush comment)
6 did I mention off roading a tundra is a really fun really bad idea if you care about paint

And on the bright side pinstripes can usually be gotten out and gives you something to actually detail?
Hang with me and I’ll teach you the ways. I’m pretty sure the truck is still gonna last forever just won’t look new quite as long

For ease of use, durability and performance, Griots 3 in 1 is tough to beat. As Saltyhero13 advised, it can be a little streaky, but that can be overcome. It's affordable and available at most of the big name auto parts stores.
