I bought my 2018 tundra last year and the previous owner installed an aftermarket K&N intake. I am constantly having to clean it because I live in a very dusty area. I am wanting to replace it with the OEM intake that came on the truck. I am having a lot of trouble finding one that is not the aftermarket TRD intake. Any advice?

I've got a 2012 OEM I pulled off my truck a month ago. I swapped to a 3rd gen as they are a bit smaller and allow the ARB dual compressor to mount behind the air box.
    DM me if interested.

Thank you for the offer but I am trying to find a new one for a 3rd gen. Can’t seem to find them anywhere online just the TRD ones.

no problem. I was in the same boat, I wanted to buy a new 3rd gen. Gave up and bought one used on eBay, cleaned her up, new filter and good as new!

Just noticed that that one is missing the lower air box.

You could also try an Outerwears over the filter, that would help. Also know that a lot of people overclean their filters. It is okay for it to have a coating of dirt on it, in fact they filter better that way because it closes up the pores in the media of an oiled filter. I worked for Airaid designing intakes and filters for seven years, so I speak from experience. All that said, it's completely understandable if you want to go back to a stock intake with a paper filter considering your conditions. I think your best bet is to find one that someone removed to install an aftermarket intake here on the forum. You might even post that you would trade your K&N for someone's stock intake and get lucky enough to find someone local.

The amount of dust we get out in west texas is the only reason I’ve hesitated on getting a K&N intake as well. Especially during drought years we get some massive dust storms
