Dead stock with oem 16" starfish wheels. We'll see how long that lasts. :) Topper of unknown origin.
Yesterday I started disassembling things that I could reach from the driver's seat. It started with the radio to see if it had the 12-pin cd changer plug that bluetooth adapters use (it does). Next came the console and other things. Along the way I tested the radio for one thing or another. Towards the end of the day I plugged the radio back in and it wouldn't power on. Thus began a few hours of internet searches, youtube videos, etc. Fuses were a common answer along with removing a fuse for 10 minutes to reset, removing the ground strap from the battery and then some random Toyota gremlin that took down radios. I believe I saw one or two mentions saying that the center panel had to be plugged in which sounded dumb to me.

Well, today I went out and plugged the wires into the center panel and sure enough, the radio fired up (I was sure I fried it somehow).

Wanna get the radio to work? Plug in the connector below...

Bonus, here are the rear connectors for non-JBL 16836 (on upper right of the front panel), 86120 (number on the top of the radio)...The middle 12-pin is what bluetooth adapters plug into. (Yes, I'm keeping the head unit oem, I love the looks. I will be looking at a signal converter, an amp and fancy speakers eventually.)
