Ive really been looking at the Shield plus that just came out.
It's nice but too much money for no tritium night sights.

there is a night sight option for the plus, saw it at academy Thursday night for $625 (sku# 13250).
I would have done that one but I already had 8 mags for the gen1/2 models.

Finally decided to ditch the corded blower and after a lot of research, picked this bad boy up from Lowe’s.
The box was banded up with your typical plastic banding material, so I thought, at least no one has opened this one. Wrong... I got home and opened it up to find there was no battery
I assume someone bought it, took the battery out and returned it. Lowe’s probably band up returns and put back on shelf without checking.
Went back and got it straight.

Whenever you get a battery for it your gonna love it. I used to have a gas echo and love my battery blower way more. Plus the kids can do it for me now! Living in west Texas I have to blow off the porch’s and garage daily almost

Yeah, I’m sure I will. I went back to Lowe’s just about an hour ago, couldn’t wait til tomorrow and they swapped it out without a fuss. Told them what I thought happened.
Battery is on charge atm, looking forward to not having to drag a cord around.
I just checked the price of the batteries alone

Funny you say that. I actually needed a new battery and it was cheaper to buy the blower with a battery than a single battery. It was on sale but still!

    A bunch
It's crazy, but once you pick a system then you can get multiple tools on the same system. I have the Greenworks 80v blower and whipper snipper, so now I'd only have to buy the tools if I wanted a mower, chainsaw, or whatever else they have. Lots of up front costs but nice to be able to run multiple tools from the same battery

Looks like there is an alignment issue. One side of the tire is nearly completely worn but the other side looks like it has good tread left.

6112/5160. Ranchhand rear bumper and Valhallas Shields.
With the rise in catalytic converter thefts I decided to pick up front and rear Cat Shields from Tyler at Valhalla Shields. I got the uncoated ones, painting them my self tomorrow morning with a few coats of self etching primer them some Rustolium Hammered metal finish gloss black. The quality of his work is amazing and he’s a great guy to deal with.

Yep. Getting alignment tomorow. She either nailed a pothole or it came like that. Like to think she hit a pothole.

So far yes. I used it on burner wood from some work orders and some 3-4” stuff. But man it packs a punch. Fits me good. I didn’t get to try the 10. But I’m 6’2” so I like a little longer handle.
