What's the purpose of having both the Ram rail and the ICS dash mount? Wondering if one can't handle what the other can, or if you have specific purposes for each.

I'm trying to mount phone or tablet, thinking the ICS with an arm would suffice, but not trying to impede my windshield view, nor my stereo. Would be used by passenger for navigation, so adjustability would be key. If I need basic directions, I'll just use android auto on the stereo.

Had a Ram seat bolt mount, but it broke in 6mo. I loved it, but left a sour taste.

    Thanks

I installed the RAM 2 years ago because ICS didnt make a dash mount for us gen 2s. I just left it there for the phone mount as it is easier.
for tablets/GPS/radio/cam the ICS is better

I love the bumpers! Looking to get rid of all my chrome and go painted.

my father in law is a line x dealer, and after seeing how sick yours looks I’m considering going that route as it would be free :)

Are you still happy with them? Held up well over the years? I’m rocking magnetic grey with black rims so I think the black would still look pretty sweet.
