ThT would be a dream. Maybe if I become a monster energy girl? Then I would be able to hit all the races haha

I would like to be part of the dirt works crew. They do an ansome job making the tracks.

For sure! It's crazy how they build those tracks within a few days, and then have all the dirt out of the stadium by the morning after the race.

I'm in the same boat. Last year I went to the East Rutherford, NJ race. I doubt I'll make it this year though.

Was last year the first year they went there? Or was it the year prior? We almost went to the race at Foxborough, Massachusetts last year but it ended up being way too expensive for a weekend trip. Tickets were more than they are at Jerry's World shockingly enough.

YES! The first year we went, it was almost overbearing when we first walked in the door, but by the end of the night I was enjoying the smell of race gas. It's all part of being at the Supercross races live atmosphere.

Yeah I love walking back in while there practicing or whatever and just get blasted in the face by it. Then you get quickly acclimated to it.

2014 was the first year back, prior to that they had some in the 80's-1990-ish I believe.

It was the first pro SX I have ever went to. I have been to a few outdoor MX nationals to watch back in the day. They are a good time as well.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: That was so accurate. I'm a Reed fan, but I was kinda disappointed the way he treated Dungey last week. All games aside from the heats or the week prior when Reed went down in the first turn, I think Reed should have been the bigger man and let Dungey go by the same way he did for Tomac.

I also like Reed, but I agree. It's common courtesy, and part of the rules.

For real! Dungey has bigger fish to fry than dealing with Reed being petty.

Very funny. Reed needs to go ahead and retire. getting lapped 2-3 times in a main should be the push he needs. I still want to know what his beef with Dungey is.

Had a chance to go to ford field in Detroit Michigan. We had all access VIP passes which got us anywhere! It was like a dream come true! Walking the track at 9 AM while the dirt work crew was finishing the track. Went inside of dunges rig and talked with mechanic and driver. What an awesome crew whose hospitality blew me away!! VIP is the only way to go!! Buy the way picking up my new custom 2017 Tundra SR5 TRD 5.7L today with custom leather seats and the angry eyes no fear logo! Will post pics when I get it!! Love live super cross!!

Wow I'm jealous! New truck and VIP at supercross.. sounds like you're having a good time. We were able to do just the track walk the last two times to my local race in Arlington, TX. The track is a whole different beast when you're down on the stadium floor walking on it.. Here are some pics from the 2016 race we went to actually:

Somewhat off topic but I plan to send my carb (FCR) out to ZipTy Racing for service/modification. Have any of you guys ever used their carb service before?

Ty makes some trick parts for carbs and I know he knows his stuff. I would rather have his place go through it compared to my local shops.

I haven't heard anything about ZipTy, I'm not much help though either since my last bike was fuel injected :anonymous:

Roger. I purposely picked a carbureted 450 "so I could work on it myself"... It was a good thought but I had no idea how different these 4 stroke carbs are compared to what I'm used to in a 2 stroke.

Ty Davis is the owner of ZipTy racing. He is a bit of an off road legend, started making intelligent and useful parts for his team then made a business out of it (to the best of my knowledge, just going on memory here).

I wish I went with a fuel injected bike but I'm going to stick with this one because I don't ride it much anyway...

Carb is definitely cheaper to repair/replace when something goes wrong or doing regular maintenance, computer systems and what not get expensive FAST! By what you're saying it looks like it would be a solid place to send it to. I would give it a shot if I was in your position.

I've actually been considering getting another bike, I've got the itch to ride really bad. I just can't justify it right now with working nights and going to school, it would just sit in the garage for me to look at more than actually go out and ride it. I think if I do get another I'm going to stray away from Yamaha for the first time and get a KTM 250sx-f.. it would match the inferno truck perfectly :rofl:Not only that but they're a good 15lbs lighter than the Yamaha 250f I had

I'm gunna give it a whirl, we'll see. I rode my 450 once in the past 2 years. It does make for a great clothes hanger in the garage when I have some wet or dirty clothes, the grips really prevent the clothes from slipping to the floor.:D

    My 125 just sits there.
I know once I sell either or both I will regret it, and want to buy another bike.

I would love a 250 2stroke to turn into a woods beast and race some Hare Scrambles. I love Moto but you know someone is always getting banged up. As a kid it didn't matter but now it does, haha.

The KTM's are all pretty sick. For some reason I gravitate toward Honda's, but they are all great bikes nowadays.

One thing is for sure, electric start is a pretty nice feature!

LOL mine ended up being the same thing while I wasn't able to ride after my accident.. great clothes hanger. I just got to the point to where I knew someone else could get better use out of it than I was. I'm the same way, I used to ride every week up until October of 2015 when I had my accident, then reality set in and I knew the wrecks were only going to get worse as well as the injuries.. Risk vs. Reward wasn't in my favor, so I decided to give it up for the time being. Now I mountain bike which seems to do the trick, but every now and again I stroll across old photos or videos and it makes me want to swing a leg over another dirt bike and start riding again.

Watching supercross doesn't help much either, I'm livestreaming it in the background at work :) Track looks prime! Definitely going to be rough by the time the mains come around.. I noticed they shortened the mains 3 minutes each due to weather conditions.
