    It's good
locked or no? Maybe a magnet or a kydex holster bolted up out of sight. Sorry, I don't have a pic.

No locks! I don't want it in plain sight. Not a good idea if law enforcement pulls you over, walks up to vehicle and see's your gun before any communication is exchanged. I'm thinking of dedicating a holster to ride between seat and console to use, if possible. My body would hide the weapon if pulled over by law enforcement which wouldn't set him on edge and give me time to communicate my LTC and location of weapon.

    How about this.
    Rubber coated very strong magnet.
    Holds 35 dead pull pounds.
Gun holds tight but comes off quick when you grab it.
You can mount with supplied four screws but I used heavy duty Velcro so I can remove magnet also.
I have one in console shown here and one under dash by parking break.
Gun just sticks solid on top of slide and allows your hand to just drop onto it.

Also added this today and used the rectangular magnet for clips.

Mine is on my person, most of the time. But when I’m out on the backroads, as a solo female, I usually have one here too.

We are an open-carry state and I also have my conceal carry license.

I don't recognize the brand/logo, but would you mind directing me toward that vendor? Adding the console safe, even with an organizer, I like the idea of using the plate in a similar fashion.

Thanks! I'd heard of victory, but googling didn't net a result, for some reason. I agree on the Rago. I dig it, but not the bridge. It's a bit over the top for my purposes. Punintentional.

The Rago molle panels stick out away from the console but it also fits between the seat and the console which seems to me would be rubbing the seat each time it moves fore and aft

Doesn't work well for my 1911 due to the limited space, but is OK for an M&P. Just tool box foam cut to fit in the door cup holders.
