The wife managed to find the only cement pole close to our house. Looking at a 12” wide dent with no cracking at all. Anybody with similar damage or body work exp out there know if this can be fixed at home? Or best to take to body shop ?

Sure it's fixable but it depends if you can find a good used one for less than what it'll cost to fix plus paint. Forget about pounding it back out yourself.

That’s more what I was curious about. If pounding it back was an option.

I wouldn't try it unless you're good with a hammer and dolly. I've tried similar stuff and it takes some really hard hits to get it to smooth out. It still looked like crap. Plus you have paint to deal with too.

Ya, and there’s not really a clear swing behind it without removing the bumper.

The scratched/smashed outer piece is plastic. There’s also going to be damage to metal brackets underneath. It’s pushed up enough to be into the bedside. Seek professional help.

You can replace the end cap but it is painted. You will probably also need the brace behind it.

@Roman might be able to give you a parts list with prices, and maybe even an exploded view of the bumper end so you can see what is behind it. The expensive thing there is the BSM sensor if you have it.

You can find used end caps on ebay. Take it off and examine the bracket too-may need some straightening.

The rough country rear bumper is like 500.00...seems like a decent deal for what it is

This is the Road Armor Stealth which usually runs $1600. They often have a 50% off sale on their site. Mine is Line-X'ed which would be about $350 or so. The lights were $250.00
