    Hey guys,

I recently bought a 2011 Tundra (double cab 4x4 base model). It has steel wheels. I would like to upgrade. I am in conversations with this guy on craigslist -

Toyota tundra wheels and tires - auto wheels & tires - by owner -... (craigslist.org)

Do you all think this is a good deal for $300? He says the sensors are included. If I were to purchase these alloy wheels, I would need to buy lug nuts. I have scoured this forum and the internet and the more I read the more I get confused about where to find lug nuts and what type to buy. Can you all make any suggestions with links? I am not proud and I assume I know nothing (because it's probably true when it comes to parts/fixing things). Thanks in advance.

Not a bad deal if you like the wheels / tires. They should be somewhat negotiable, so offer $50-100 less and go from there.

Best to call the dealership about the lugs. Tell them which wheels they are (if known). The seller may know the year/model they came off of. I believe you will need then "Acorn" style. You could probably send the pics to aftermarket lugnut mfg's and they could make a recommendation as well.

    Good luck.

Bottom right, that's the style you need for standard Tundra rims, 2007-2021. Mag style 14x1.50. Chrome ones are much easier to find.

There's an example from Ebay, search Tundra lug nuts there or Amazon to get a baseline, then either check a Toyota dealer online or your local one for dealer pricing.

As for price, if the rims are in decent shape I'd say 300 is good with the sensors, I see no reason to believe they're not included, they would have had to dismount the tires, then had them remounted (may as well just pay for new sensors at that point).

    Alot of them
Yes the dealer will have lugs since those are oem wheels. The sensors are installed...I can see them. The dealer will have to program them to your truck. Some dealers will do it for free if asked. I think the price is good. I've seen people try to sell those for $800 and higher around here.

Assuming the tires are in decent shape, $300 seems like a fair price to me.

Discount tire will often reprogram your TPMS sensors for free.

It wouldn't concern me. Seems like a decent deal for alloys with tires with a little life left. Ask if they have the lug nuts too. A lot of used sets come with them or people sell them on here for cheap.
