it's more of a big scratch than a dent..I think I found something online that would look cool, a tailgate spoiler like me old 2008 silverado had.

    Not nearly enough room here!
Bought it from 'Pacer', found the best price on Amazon. Comes in different length rolls. Warm it up first in cool/cold temps. Been on my truck for several years.

2017 4X4. Bought new from the dealer. 5.7 liter. Just turned 56,000 miles.

Slight diversion. My 1997 T-100, 4X4, 3.6 liter V6, has 263,000 miles on it (manual 5 speed tranny) and just keeps going and going and going.

I've got 237,000 miles on my 06 4WD SR5. It runs like a champ and I've had zero issues except for a broken tailgate clip. I think my steering rack is starting to leak though.

I have a 2002 Tundra Limited Access Cab 2 wheel drive, 4.7 V8 with 276,000 miles on the clock and it is solid as a rock. Over the years, I replaced the Transmission at 255,000, the rack and pinion power steering at 225,000, the air conditioning system at 230,000 and the timing belt and serpentine belt every 80,000 miles. I replaced all 8 coil units two years ago when one and then two coil units failed within a 3 month period. I also replaced the radiator 3 times and recently replaced the upper and lower front control arms and tie rod ends.

I bought the Tundra new and paid $26,000 financed over 3 years via Toyota Financial at 0% interest. I have not had a truck payment since 2005.

I have an excellent independent garage and do not trust Toyota service with anything more complex than an oil and filter change.

At 190,000 miles, I had an excessive vibration in the drive line at speeds between 35 and 60 MPH. The Toyota techs, told me I had a bent axle and a damaged differential and wanted $6,000 to rebuild the differential. My independent garage pulled the drive shaft and a had a garage that specialized in off road and custom work check it out. Tundras have a two piece drive shaft. The independent garage determined that the front half was out of balance and sent it back to my independent garage. My independent garage bought a new Dana OEM front half of the drive shaft, installed three new U-Joints and a central support for $790.00. The Tundra now drives smooth as silk.

While explaining the bent axle problem to me, the Toyota techs said that they had put my Tundra up on a lift and could see a wobble in the real wheels at 25 MPH. My independent garage put my Tundra up on a lift and ran the vehicle at 25 MPH as I watched. There was no wobble. IMO, the Toyota techs lied to me. I bought 3 new vehicles from that dealership and have never returned.

Been a year and change since I posted and happy to say my 2010 SR5 4x4 just surpassed its 400k miles and it’s in the shop currently haha. The check engine light and 4Low started flashing and wouldn’t let me go above 30mph. They’re telling me it’s a sensor that’s common with these trucks and that’s it’s about 2100$ to get the original Toyota parts to put it in. I have a few head gaskets leak and I think the valley of the motor is leaking coolant and that’s about it.

on another note. Just got my brand new TRD PRO couldn’t be more excited and just broke 7k miles haha.
