I just sold a bunch of stacking chairs on FB.
    They Stack.
I listed them as Stacking and the pics showed them clearly stacked too.
I got 20 idiots asking me if they stack?

Why do people ask if it is still available and then never follow that up?

Cash is all I will accept yet no one wants to give me cash.

Facebook itself seems to ask if you are interested after every single inquiry independent of the seller somehow,WTF is that about exactly?

Craigslist is pretty f'd these days. I buy or pic up free stuff there once in a while but wouldn't bother selling there.

FB market place, I have never directly used, but several people I know who did use it got their FB hacked shortly after. I don't know if they made mistakes but seems common enough to scare me away. My wife sold a fish tank, a bike rack, and some other stuff for me there and it all moved quick. Her FB got hacked quick too.

Offer up has been pretty good. I bought a few things and sold two things. The only trouble there is people want stupid amounts of money for stuff. I spend time looking at the asking prices and laughing. I saw a 15 year old Kicker subwoofer and the guy was asking 300, it wasn't that expensive new

They have backed me when I received an item not as advertised on more than one occasion.

The one thing on FB Mkt that I almost bought but didn’t smell right was a set of BBS Pro wheels for the Tundra for a good price. I asked if they were still available. He took the listing down, then responded “yes i still have it”. Anytime someone speaks in the singular for a set of multiple items (such as a set of wheels), I walk away.

    Was it Local at least?
Kind of tough to get scammed in person if the wheels are not actually there.

Local-ish. It was also listed in the wrong category, and it seemed like the seller had 0 friends and a brand new profile.

FB marketplace does all they possibly can to make it hard to find things so they get you to spend more time and be able to show you more ads.
