I need to start replacing some of my bulbs. The center stack are getting dim and dingy. I removed the green cover from the bulb for the ignition ring but the old bulb looks yellow as hell.

Hey I’m looking to do this exact color for my dash and HVAC console. I’ve had issues with LEDs not working and flickering/not being bright on my truck and was wondering if it was the bulbs I’m buying or maybe a fuse issue. If by any chance could you link where you bought your bulbs? Thanks!

If you mean where to buy, SuperBrightLeds is good to work with. If you mean the different sizes, most if not all sizes are littered thru out this thread. Yes, they will be dimmable.
Once you are into it and decide to change other location, climate control, foot well, glove box, etc....you'll know there sizes by what you took out of Instrument Panel.
Also, if you put one in and test before buttoning down, one might not be lit. Simply turn it 180 in holder. Some of our locations are polarity sensitive.

    Led bulb conversion

Your 04 might be be similar to mine....

I'm only saying this because you're not aware if LEDs are dimmable, so there's a strong chance you also don't know they're directional. i.e. you *can* install an LED backwards and it won't light up. It's virtually impossible to get every bulb correctly polarized, so make sure you test everything by powering up *before* you button it all up.

You're lucky; only 2000-2004 trucks can change out the lights. '05-'06 (and probably '05-'07 Seuqoia) have LEDs but soldered onto the board. This thread is good, there's also more info here, and threads linked from here: https://www.tundras.com/threads/instrument-panel-led-conversion.94162/
