Check out Chinas holdings in GM.

We (taxpayers) bailed out the GM about 10 years ago to the tune of billions. How did they thank us? Moved more production offshore. Nice of them. They screwed their own unions, too. :rofl:Proves that Unions have Fat Cats that sell out for $$$ just like the Too Big Corps.

I see the one you are referring to. That's what I put in the back. I kept the overload in place and installed this. Added lift and rides really well.

I also did the Deaver pack from toytec, and it was really good, but I ended up replacing the full leaf pack 6 months later. Wheelers off road has the same thing and it's cheaper, with very good reviews.

I scoured parts and pipe from far reaches of the inter webs. Kinda a long process but it’s worth it so far

De-badged her for a new look. The chrome emblems are faded slightly and have an idea to spray them with some extra Aluminum Wheel Paint and Clear Coat. Kinda like the look without, but will still spray the emblems tomorrow with Optimal Atmospheric Conditions.

You can barely tell where they were as the paint has been kept properly maintained all these years. Tools used were soapy water, specialized old skool compound flexible thin rounded tip knife, and a popsicle stick. Took about 1.5 hours. Pics tomorrow.

Mulling in meditation for the next 24 hours on next move.

You should be proud of your hard work and skill put into this. Its not easy doing a first proto-type. Looks like you spent the proper time sourcing all the good stuff.

    I appreciate that, thanks.
It’s definitely way louder than I was expecting, which makes it difficult trying to be gentle on the throttle because it sounds soooo good. But I can see how I might jump up in mpgs, it definitely takes less effort to get up to speed and maintain it. It’s just so nice to hear the notes and learning what is and what should be.

Input your truck data in and try a search that way. Maybe call Gates and try that way. I tried a search but no confirm/deny.

Believe that belt is for the V8. Try Rockauto for compatible Gates Belts for the V6. Then use the parts number to search wherever you like to buy from.
