Ordered some new headlamps and turn signal assemblies for the Tundra from Partsgeek.com. TYC brand. Rock auto and 1aauto were out of stock on some of the lenses. Also ordered new headlamp assemblies for our ‘07 Odyssey from 1aauto. Can’t wait til they get here!

With the OSRAM kit and they eventually faded back, especially with car wash chemicals

In that past a quick replolish and wax would keep my worn out oem lights in tip top shape. It became part of my spring cleaning. I spent about 10 minutes a year doing that.. Unfortunately the po of my truck opted for mismatched new headlights with poor optics.

Didn’t take very long to do. Hardest part was trying to pop out the turn signal lenses and fit my LED bulbs into the sockets.

And no, the truck doesn’t normally look that clean of a blue color (normally your typical faded blue) and yes, the van is dirty...lol...getting some rain here now, so didn’t want to waste $$$$ on the car wash today.

For what they cost, I’m not sure why so many people wait so long to replace their old crusty ones. It’s makes the truck look so much better and the difference in performance is huge. Nice work!

My main reason for not doing it earlier was fit and finish reviews. These seem to be good so far. Will need to get them properly aligned once the rain stops.

Yeah. I see you went TYC. For anyone looking, the Akkon Brand is pretty decent going into 2 years and looking new. Cost about $115 for the Headlamp/Side Marker Combo (2002 Tundra).

OEM is nice but north of $400 for heads, and turns. Didn't even get the reach around...

Sams club used to offer a headlight restoration service for $28 but I think it’s $40 now. They clean, buff and use a UV protectant to seal it. Comes with a five year warranty. They did a good job on my Silverado years ago.
