Looking for a camper shell for my 06 longbed truck. I'm located in mid KS. Where would I look? Already tried marketplace & craigslist. Thanks for any help. P.s. need to carry a kayak on top.

Years ago I managed to find a used cap at a place that sells caps...maybe try some local dealers?

You are looking in the right places but it might take a while to find anything for a truck that has not been produced for 15 years and the Long Bed was not the most popular of them at the time they were made.

Also Mid KS is a big place and not too much there really so have you made your search on FB Marketplace wide enough to include some bigger cities too?

I have had two LEER and one A.R.E. on my '02 Long Bed. I liked the LEER caps just fine, and the high top was the best for my work. I now have an aluminum high wedge commercial A.R.E. that is huge, and I love working out of it. It weighs less than any of the fiberglass LEER caps I have owned. You may want to consider an aluminum cap with a built-in roof rack.

As @ezdog mentioned, and you are probably fully aware of - there are very few options available to long bed T100 & Tundra owners. Prepare to spend more than those with 6.5 foot or shorter beds.
