Was doing a little Spring cleaning today and noticed some bizarre rust on the driver's side seatbelt mount. Anyone know what could be causing this? I've never had any water intrusion into the cab, and the passenger side is fine.
However, glancing underneath, there is a
little bit of rust and maybe a missing bolt? The missing bolt has me puzzled too, it's not there on either passenger or driver's side, and it looks like there is nothing for one to screw into anyway, just the nut welded onto the plate for some reason.PXL_20210321_204151546.jpg PXL_20210321_202656584.jpg

It's a common area for roadsalt from your footwear to get on the seatbelts components, I guess you just got unlucky
