Predator 3500, I've had this for 5 yrs and have 500+ hrs on it. The only complaint I've had is that its hard to move around and oil changes are a pain in the backside.
So, 2- 3' chunks of all-thread, some foam filled wheels and a couple of hrs of my time with a couple of beers and away we go.
I was going to make a sub frame and fit it underneath, it actually has a frame but when I flipped it up and removed the wheels it has a solid axle front and rear so ............. I removed the wheels, did a little grinding on some tabs, used zip ties to hold them in place and tacked them up. There is a 3/16 gap between the original axle and the all-thread so I used a 1" long piece of key stock to fill the gap and welded it up. I didn't bother to grind the all-thread so if you've ever welded to it you know it can get ugly.
I will flip it and weld the backsides tomorrow. First pic is the original wheels and how I keep it fueled.

Speaking of that, we ran this for 40+ hrs during the ice storm last month and when I turned it off it had a cracked fuel line and all the fuel drained out. 20.00 later and I have a whole new carb kit. I'm also adding a solar battery tender while I'm in there.

This thing has started by the second pull every time, I work out of town a lot so to make it easier for my wife I put in an AGM battery and a solar battery tender. She has 2 plates and 18 screws in each wrist so it a little difficult for her.
This tender was cheap and came with a bunch of connections so it can be unplugged from the generator and used for something else.

It'll run for >100hrs under load just like that. Which means it needs an oil change, the new tires make that a breeze.
