Has anyone put a billet grill in a 2002 Toyota tundra sr5. And did they have to do alot of cuttings? Also did you take a video. If not did you use any kind of filler after cutting old grill center out? Any help would be appreciated?

I have the GrillCraft Style and yes there is some cutting. You’ll need to be at least Black Belt Level AND have the proper tools. I used a Cordless Milwaukee Small Sawzall with a fine metal blade (even though cutting plastic) for smoov even cuts. I did not take a video, but did follow provided directions.

Did not need fillers/bonders, but did add some flexible adhesive to a tab that was starting to crack slightly after almost 2 years. Added some on the other tab for extra measure even though it was sound.

Overall, very easy for me with Mad Hand Skills. I’ve seen some Billet Styles need lots of filler and they were a strong no go for me. Mine was a cut and then fastener install with the aforementioned FlexAdhesive added in a spot dab or two later.

Dead stock with oem 16" starfish wheels. We'll see how long that lasts. :) Topper of unknown origin.

This is truly a darn good looking grill. Well done.

Thank you. I saw one other member with one but his was High Polished Chrome instead of Gloss Black. These are made in USA and of super high quality. Holding nicely and well put together steel. The tab that slightly cracked was on my truck plastic frame. Highly recco!

Nice grill. I’m a gomer and can’t find your build thread. Where did you get Toyota badge to put in grill. And overall as you mentioned very easy for a rookie to install?

I have a slower giffy (old sckoll pronunciation) for other occasions. This faster one exudes a certain excitement.

    Here is my build thread:
    https://www.tundras.com/threads/southpaw’s-2000-tundra-limited-4x4-build.53510/

On a 1-10 scale, 2/3. Just remove your existing grille, cut the trim piece at the bottom and bolt this one on. I got them emblem off eBay. It’s a genuine OEM Toyota emblem from an FJ cruiser.

His eyes are too white sadly, but other than that he’d do well over there.
