Sup guys. So I took my truck to a vinyl shop to get the handles gloss black I don’t know why but his understanding was just to get rid of the chrome. So shop only vinyl wrap where the chrome was. WTH. I wanted all black. But after driving home and looking at them it started growing in me. Kinda luxury a little. Friends thought it was factory. I’m not a big off road guy so didn’t want to do the full rugged look. Last picture I put in a gloss black handle cover. You can compare front handle from back. What u guys think. Black it all out or leave it ?

Check the build link in my signature.
I’ve seen other cars do the two tone on the “nightmare” or “nightshade” trims. I think it looks good if you have other gloss black elements to tie it in with

If I already had the all black, I'd keep them.

If I already had the half and half, I'd keep them.

What I'm trying to say is, both look good on your truck.

I have black covers on a cement truck, so I like the look. Personally, I think the partially covered look makes the handles look undersized.

You do you, though. Whatever floats your boat.

I’m not a huge fan of the all black when it’s gloss, I think the half and half looks better with the shinier finish. If it was matte black I’d say do the whole handle.

At first glance its a no. But looking at for a few more seconds. Kinda like that 2 tone look. Different but tasteful imo.

I thought about doing this exact thing, even did a mock up with some vinyl tape, but ultimately just swapped them for all matte black.
I think it looks good, and ties in well with your wheels. I say keep it.
