Replacing the gear oil on my rear differential and can't find what the manual recommends on which type to buy. Suggestions?

If you have lsd, this is good. You'll buy 4 qts and you'll use around 3.5. Toyota doesn't recommend synthetic for the lsd, I think it doesn't j8ve with the clutches for some reason.

If you do not have lsd, this works fine. I used it before I put an lsd in. 4 qts should do.

Important! Never ever pull the drain plug until you have removed the fill plug. Also, when you remove the fill plug listen close. If you hear pressure being released you'll want to replace your diff breather. Too much pressure will blow axle seals and thats worth avoiding.
