I'm finally getting around to purchasing running boards for my 2011 Tundra.

I'd love some advice on brands, style, and anything else y'all might think of.

I have the Rough Country running boards with the hoops. The traction is great and installation was easy. My only complaint is that the large tube that the steps are welded to stick out too far. I had to train myself to stick my foot out farther when exiting the vehicle. Overall, they are much better than nothing.

Rough Country HD2 running boards. Love the look and they make getting in and out of the truck easy.

Those HD2s are probably the best looking running boards I've seen. A coworker has them on his Trail Boss and they look great.
The RB20s are right up there as well.
I have the APS IRunning Boards, mostly because they're aluminum and it rains 385 days a year where I live.

I have no idea what I have. They were already installed when I bought the truck, but I like them. 200+ lbs and no problem.

Well, I'm about to pull the trigger on the GoRhino RB20's...looks like sub $500 tax and shipping included from autoaccessoriesgarage.com

Hesitant because I've got a big bill coming on motorcycle repair ('84 BMW R80ST), but...prob gonna do it anyway.

On there now is Westin Platinum Series Nerf Bars...mounting brackets are pretty rusty, and two of four step pads are fucked up...price on replacing what's wrong is better money spent towards the RB20's is what I'm thinking.

I really like the factory Toyota "classic black running boards". They fit up nice and tight and are made of aluminum.
