I have a 2009 Tundra with 187,000 miles, I have had regular service and scheduled maintenance since I have owned the vehicle. I am considering a 2,000 mile cross country trip from North Florida to Utah (4000 miles round trip). Am I nuts considering to make this trip with my Tundra with this much mileage??

Not at all ! My brother has a 1Gen Tundra with 235K on the clock and tows his boat all over the PSW to various fishing tournaments.
However, the choice is yours . . .

You are going to be fine. I drove several POS cars from Wyoming to southern California and back when I was college in the early 90's.

Should be fine... I've done round trips from OKC to Ca at over 150k before moving to Phoenix then Reno.... Its just a quarter of what your trip will be with less miles, but I just did a round trip from the bay area Cali, to San Diego at 220k, no issues, about 1k round trip...

My 2008 with 157K is in great shape and I have no problem taking it on long trips. Enjoy the trip.

I just completed a 2600 mile round trip from Oklahoma to Florida in my Tundra. I averaged 13.5mpg and spent $488 on gas in the week. Truck drove like a champ, but it got old stopping every 220 miles to fill it up.
