I like this idea. I've just moved from a 2016 Tacoma offroad to a 2021 Tundra pro, yesterday to be exact, and already want to move around some switches. The rear window switch is totally out of place and this is a great spot. Nice work and thanks for posting these mods. I've also got a diamond back on order and good to see it on a tundra.

I tapped into the little foot well light on the driver's side by the parking brake. They come on when I unlock the truck and fade off when I lock it. Works perfect.

On my 2013 I tapped into the kick panel on each side...I didn't have to run a lead to the passenger side. The wiring color is different on the 2020.

I guess I need to up my Google game lol. Oh well, I'm sure my youngest would find a way to bust his shin on it or completely miss the step and fall out lol. I do like the bed access step though...now that I think about it, probably comes in handy with the DB. Everything seems to be coming together pretty well. Looking good

Installed my RCI engine skid. I removed the back plate against RCI’s advice. They told because it would lessen the stability which I understand. The oneness is all on me but it mounts the same way the factory skid does, it only about 10 pounds heavier than stock, and my truck is a pavement princess. I only bought it to make oil changes easier and to have aluminum for the NY salty winters. We shall see...3645000E-FA4D-4304-B0E5-25E6EEB5A8B7.jpg6C702E8B-9878-4AE2-BD8B-3284FCAB5B01.jpg0B896433-8415-44F5-A1F1-1FAFD93D2EF8.jpgDF70AA53-96C2-42E1-900F-FDFFAA89861F.jpg and pretty much has the same cut off points as factory.

Hmmm...never thought about there. I'll do some mach ups when they get here and see. I was leaning towards rear window or maybe the tailgate above the 4x4 decal but not sure yet.

I think it would look cool there and then you can put a 200k one on top of that one, look like a fighter jet.

Major, did you ever find an answer to this? I don’t think our Canadian trucks can update the same as American ones, and I know the Entune app won’t work either. But if there’s a workaround or a way to make mine function as the American trucks do, I’d love to know. Thnx in advance

A quick wash and added TRD Pro wheels caps. The caps looks much better than what came on there. Best $40 mod I have ever done...C6A59BB3-DD1C-4710-984A-22DB8EA0DFCC.jpg499CEFAC-F4DC-4B31-A9CD-D266405B5C40.jpg

I installed a Toyota bed step and painted the calipers red. Concerning the caliper job, what a PITA! Not sure I'd do it again had I known what I was getting into. A week later and I still have red paint on my hands.

LOL well, I didn't wait until Saturday. Just like a kid at Christmas. The install was less than 30 mins, the hardest part was removing the door panel to get to the lower 2 bolts. Build quality of the replacement mirrors is good to very good. Fit and finish were fine. These mirrors have the 2 rear facing spot lights that I will wire up at some point in the future.

The distance between the outside edge of the old factory non towing mirrors was 13" to the outer window trim, the new mirrors measure 16" to the same place, so a 3" per side net gain in the closed position. Looks like I will be folding in one mirror to get in and out of my gate, oh well. I have attached a few pics of them installed.

The turn arrows in the mirrors lite up red and work well, the marker lights work well also. Power adjust works good. I will test the heaters tomorrow am when there is dew to burn off of them. So far I am very pleased with them, will still need to play with the manual adjustment of the blind spot mirrors and circle back to hook up the two rear facing LED spots per mirror. I may just hook them to the bed lighting switch vs power them separately and hook them up as reverse lighting, I'll have to mull that over a bit.

    HTH

Mine works. But it's a 2020 and it's still on the remote connect trial. I don't think it updates the maps though. Just the other bits.

$430 from sparks, took about 30 mins. Pretty easy.
