Anyone taken their Tundras up these passes or the nearby trails? I might be in that area next september and would like to know if that's doable.

    Thanks

I have not. Found one video on Hancock pass.

    https://youtu.be/Jyg-_B_N5ws

Reading description on Hancock looks like there is 1 part early in the trail that folks are saying you need high approach angle vehicle and there is no by pass . . .

    here's some info...

    https://funtreks.com/off-road-trails/tomichi-pass/
    https://funtreks.com/off-road-trails/hancock-pass-alpine-tunnel/

trails offroad also has info on hancock. you may need to register to get to it.

    https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/1082-hancock-pass

trails offroad also says you'll need a valid ohv permit for hancock.
both are going to be very narrow shelf roads. tundra might fit but you may have several extended full pucker moments.

For Trails offroad you have to register AND pay the annual fee. It's not a free site anymore.

Over a year later so it is probably a useless reply. I did both of those passes in a mildly lifted Jeep and it was no problem. However, there are some tight switchbacks you can still make. There was one section, maybe 1/8 mile long were the road was really narrow and I remembered thinking I was glad not to be in a full sized rig. I am not saying you could not make it, but there may be some spotting and squeaking by in a few spots...hopefully, lol.

    Did you end up going?
