I went ahead and added all of the options.

$1635. If those batteries weren't so expensive, it would be pretty affordable.

Any group 34R battery will work. We use the Odyssey Extreme Series batteries due to their reliability and lack of issues.

Here's a question: I have a 4 month old Northstar AGM 24F that is currently on my old Frontier I'm going to sell.

Was thinking of swapping the new battery from my Tundra into the Frontier (pretty sure it will fit) which would give me a spare AGM battery. Can I use a Gr24AGM and a Gr34AGM in your trays/system?

Our tray systems are all designed around the Group 34 sized batteries. We have not done any fitment with the 24's so I would not be able to confirm. I show the 24 being a taller battery by roughly an inch.

The extended power steering lines for the stock reservoir: the larger line is provided with a 90 degree fitting crimped near one end. Does that 90 degree end attach to the PS pump or the reservoir? Directions just say "install". Either way it's a tight fit with those AIP filter lines running up through the same real estate too or I'm doing something wrong.

The hose will only go on one way. The 90 degree female AN fitting will go onto the male AN fitting on the power steering reservoir (or the filter if you purchased the filter upgrade). The bare line will slide over and clamp onto the hardline.

I did not purchase the billet PS reservoir or filter so I'm just running the old stock plastic reservoir. The lines included with the kit don't come with any AN fittings, just a 5/8" and 3/8" line. Which end does the 90 degree fitting go to, pump or reservoir?

The 90 degree will go into the reservoir.

Thanks! Will wrap up this install hopefully tonight then. This kit is SO SOLID and well engineered. I love the breather filter routing, retaining washer fluid in a dead space while keeping on board air, and plenty of room to stuff an extra 70Ah under the hood. Excuse the dirt.

Thanks for the feedback! My engineers are also going to clarify the hoses better in the future install instructions, I do agree that it was a tad vague.

What is your system s design intent, or applications? Does power management apply for both engine running, and not running?

The system is designed to have an isolated battery that can be used to either run constant or long low draw items or to be used as a jumpstart battery. The ML-ACR isolates the battery from one another for draw purposes but when the vehicle is running, it will main charge the battery and float charge the secondary battery. The ML-ACR has a switch that can be pushed to instantly link the two batteries together.

Do you guys have a discount code for the Tundra forum? I’m gonna order some stuff and was really hoping for a discount to help with the costs.

Has anyone done this kit recently? I called Offgrid Engineering (OGE) and they’re planning on releasing a kit soon so I thought I’d get feedback. TIA

Has anyone installed this kit themselves? Is this something I can do? Any special tools needed? Any big risk?

Tried to install this kit today.

my kit is missing the billet hood down thing.

also SDHQ supplied new hoses for the power steering bottle that were longer. However they are a different size than OEM and the hose clamps don’t fit. Further, I haven’t quite figured out how to get to the hose (Larger of the two) or clamp on the pump itself. That hose on the engine end is going to be a nightmare.

got a drain and fill done my power steering though.
