Hey. I'm curious what peoples thoughts are. TVD vinyl, which makes some neat stuff I now see has wrap for various rims. I have stock 2020 trd offroad rims. The vinyl comes precut on shape of rhe spokes. Would any of you put this on. Or have any of you. Curious if guys would rather plastidip. Paint.. Powder coat? For 50bucks for all 4 rims already cut I thought why not.

They are a highly recommended vendor on here. I have some of their Vinyl products and they are awesome items as well as awesome to deal with.

These look good. Read up on the product...durability is a concern for my use case...wont last where I live...coincidentally, I dropped my TRD wheels off for powder coating this morning.

I would definitely do the vinyl overlays instead of PlastiDip. I did both when I had my Off Road wheels. Neither will be a long-term solution, especially in northern areas, but I'd put my money on the vinyl holding up way longer.

I had planned on eventually getting my wheels powder coated, but ended up getting new wheels instead.

I have their antique bronze wheel decals on all 5 of my TRD OR wheels and they look good and have been holding up really well so far. Just take your time installing them and get some of this stuff off Amazon:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006RMEFNS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006RMQCFW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8

I cleaned the wheel surface real good with iso alcohol, used that cleaner/prep spray and then the application spray. Did them all but the spare while on the truck. Spare I did on the bench as it didn't have a tire on it yet.

Pics of them on the truck here:

Nice looking job. Did you have it done. Or did you do it yourself? Just curious

has anyone had a tire swap with the stickers on?
i know no matter how careful the installer is, i'll have to re-plastidip mine.

I had a KO2 installed on a new wheel with the vinyl already installed and it was fine. Haven't had a tire removed yet but the nice part is you can replace just a section of the vinyl without redoing the entire wheel if it's damaged. TVD does include a few spare pieces with their kit so if you don't screw up and use them during the initial install you have spares for later

Once i'm ready for new tires, i'll probably pull the plastidip and put the stickers on.

Discount completely buggered the edge of mine when I had tires swapped. Not sure if all shops would be the same, but I'd recommend what you said and install the vinyl after the tires are on.

Yes, some stickers where damaged but can be replaced. They give a few extras. I will try to do this soon.

I did it myself and bought some spray and squeegy kit. Soapy water works as well. Took the wheels off, probably half hour a tire with a warm day. I think I would do this with tires on after having done it.
